y/n looked at Cabbage Merchant with confusion in her eyes, her eyebrow slightly raised in confusion.
"Your name...is Cabbage Merchant?"
"Yeah, that's my name. Strange isn't it?" He chuckled to himself lifting the last cabbage from the floor and putting it on his stand.
"It's nice, I like it" y/n grinned. "And please, let me treat to some coffee for your troubles"
The man agreed with a nod as both of them headed off to the middle of the city, although the merchant brought along a single cabbage. y/n chuckled at the way he was holding it, just like a protective father. Soon they reached said cafe, and the brunette proudly stared at it.
The cafe was a humble building, it had no second floor and the paint was peeling off slightly on the sides. Yet it had a homey kind of vibe to it, having a big window and a porch with a few plants on it. Inside through the window you could see a few chairs and tables, with a long wooden desk up front. As the pair walked in, the sweet smell of cookies and coffee reached their noses.
y/n sighed and breathed in the nice aroma "well? How would you rate this place?"
"Hmm" The lad thought for a second, scratching his luscious beard. "This place is a solid 10, it's very cozy"
"Oh you like it that much? The girl looked shocked for a second but then admitted it "it's my favorite place actually, hopefully it can become your favorite too!" y/n smiled brightly. The Cabbage Merchant took a big breath in and sat down on a chair.
"I do like it, but it could never be my favorite" he let out the big breath. "the cabbage patch is my favorite place, well because that is where my mother's grave is"
"oh i'm so sorry to hear that" y/n frowned and looked down at the floor "I actually lost my father too"
