all mia's friends are looking forward for her to come to triplets room to celebrate her sixteen birthday; because their room was the biggest out of all. girls have room for two, david lives by himself, because he is a head of their floor; that's why the party is even happening. david told everyone on the floor they are' going to celebrate, so other students will not mind the noise.
"chris, are you sure you texted mia? it's almost middnight." asked matt. chris checks his phone once again. "yes, she said she is coming." he answered. he told her to pick up some stuff for amelia from nick.
it's obvious he lied. guys decorated the room, bought some alcohol and brought presents for mia. they wanted to surprise her at midnight, so they can celebrate the whole night; tomorrow there was no classes and happy saturday.
"guys, did you hear that?" all of them looked at amelia with confusion. "the steps." she added. all of them hided and nick turned the light off . the was knock but nobody answered. mia knocked once again; still no response.
"okay, chris, i am opening the door. please make sure all of you are decent." said mia. she opened the door and sees the room full of darkness. "what the hell?" said mia trying to find a switch; she presses the button and all the lights are on. "surprise!" screamed all of the guys jumping from hiding places.
nick blows up the firecracker. matt is trying to do the same but it's not happening. "gosh, i hate these things." said matt still trying to blow it. nick grabs it and the second firecracker finally blows. "you just a fucking kid." said nick throwing away empty firecracker.
everyone is laughing at matt now. mia was jumping and smiling; she was happy that her favourite people made something like that for her. "thank you guys so much." she runs to hug everyone. "happy birthday, bon-bon." says amelia and hugs mia hardly. "thank you, my love." she replies and goes to hug nick and david.
"how you guys even came up with this?" asked mia hugging chris. "oh, it was all chris's idea, we just wanted to go somewhere in new york tomorrow." said david. mia looked at chris huge smile. she is so happy that the guy she likes would actually do something like that for her. "really?" she asked with smile. chris just nodded and hugs her once again.
they all sat on the floor to gift their friend birthday gifts. david gave it first and it was a new pair of martines boots, mia's favourite. then matt and nick gifted her a marvel poster from a comic store. it was amelia's turn; she was so excited to give her present to mia.
she gave her a small box; mia grabs it and looked back at her best friend. "i love you so much and want us to be close like this forever." said amelia. mia opens the box and sees a silver bracelet with a charm "bon-bon". mia looks at her best friend one more time. amelia shows hers but with "black dahlia".
