CHAPTER 18 irl, instagram
in the morning, amelia and nick woke up and decided to go to breakfast. nick asked not to tell guys what happened yesterday; he didn't want unnecessary conversations among friends and remind once again about the hunter, who broke his heart.
"did he just say he is sorry and that's it?" asked chris with outrage.
nick nodded. "he was ashamed of his own mom, and left." he lied.
"can we drop it and and talk about summer plans?" says amelia.
"you just came back, what the hell." says david with confusion.
"how about you tell us about what happened on christmas with you?" asks amelia with puppy eyes. "you don't seem that pissed off lately." she adds.
"you are so observant." replied david, trying to portray her smirk.
"anyway and anywho, she is right." said mia.
"you forgot to tell us something, you even texted: "there are a lot of things." reads matt from his messages.
"did you hook up with someone?" asked chris.
"yeah, with my dad." said david.
amelia chokes on juice and begins to cough very violently. while mia slaps chris on the shoulder; matt pats amelia on the back to put her out of her misery. nick smiled slightly, even despite his sad mood.
"that's gross." says sharply chris.
"david, common." says amelia with a sigh of annoyance.
"well... during christmas...," he started slowly.
"for the fucks sake tell it already." yelled mia, so the whole dining room was looking at her.
chris's eyes widened; can his girlfriend be aggressive? that's new.
"chill, mia." said matt with laugh.
"well, me and my dad went to therapy on christmas break," says david. "i asked him what does he want on christmas and he answered, as usual, that he wants to us be closer. i already knew that, and told him that it wouldn't happen. however, dad got us some sessions with therapist and we started talking now."
