My Obsession

Chapter twenty three:

I sat with my arms crossed over my chest and waited for the rest of my friends to show up for class. Lupin walks in and looks down at me startled, "We'll this is a rare sight." He teases me. "Don't get use to it, it won't happen again." I tell him, leaning back in my chair. Not long after the boys all come into the classroom, I glance back at them and look away. "Awww is someone still mad from last night?" Theodore teases me, kissing my cheek and takes a seat in front of me. "It's honestly bullshit, you all scare every boy away." I tell them, Mattheo taking a seat next to me. "And we will continue to do that." Enzo says, taking a seat next to Theodore. "Fucking bullshit." I mumble, keeping my arms crossed over my chest. Mattheo lays his elbow on the table and rest his head against his hand, "So now we're pouting?" He ask me, giving me his best pouty face. "Yes I want a boyfriend, I want flower, dates, sex whenever I want, cuddling, compliments, the whole nine yards." I complain, all the boys turning and glaring at me now. "Shut the fuck up, you get all of that now from us as is. You sleep in one of our beds more than your own bed. We compliment you daily, hell we take you out all the time. And you were sleeping with Draco for the longest time." Enzo tells me, narrowing his eyes at me. "I'm happy to see you again." Draco smirks at me and winks, I playfully roll my eyes and Enzo rolls his eyes back at me. "Y/N?" Mattheo calls out to me, pulling my attention away from Enzo and I look at him now. "Yes?" I question him. "Will you go out with me tonight?" Mattheo ask me, the cutest smile on his face. I was a bit shocked he asked me right in front of all our friends. "I'll be ready by 7, don't be late." I say, leaning over and kissing his cheek. I knew I was smiling like an idiot, I pull back, looking at our friends all of them now glaring at Mattheo. Mattheo smirks, putting his hands behind his head and leaning back in his chair. "Also I don't dare scare easily." He tells them, winking at me. I can't help but chuckle at his comment and try to focus on Professor Lupin starting his lesson. I couldn't focus all that well, my main focus was on my date tonight with Mattheo, I was running every scenario through my head.

I was way to lost in my own thoughts to realize class has ended. "Maybe you should focus on class more than what will happen on our date tonight." Mattheo whispers in my ear, grabbing my books. "How the hell did you know?" I ask him, he smiles at me and grabs my hand, pulling me out the classroom. I squeeze his hand and wrap my other hand around his forearm, the two of us walk the halls together and head to our next class. I could feel the boys eyes on the two of us as they walked behind us. Pansy stood outside our next class with Dean, she had a huge smirk on her face when she saw the two of us. "Just friends my ass." She tells us. "I think I've made it clear I don't want to be just friends." Mattheo tells us, my head immediately snaps to her when he says that. I was in complete shock.

"What the hell do I wear?" I shout, staring down at my trunk. "I have an idea." Pansy shouts, running out our room. She comes back with Draco and Blaise. "How is this gonna help me figure out what I'm gonna wear tonight?" I ask her, pointing at the boys. "They are boys, they will tell us if the outfit is good enough." Pansy tells me. "Oh yes, I heard we have a date with Mattheo tonight." Blaise says, huge smile on my face. "I don't know why I'm so nervous, but I am." I admit, Draco chuckled and lays on my bed. "Because you like him idiot." Draco tells me. "The two of you are like two ends of a magnet. Can't stay away from one another. Plus I can't even tell you how many guys Mattheo has threatened to stay away from you." Draco tells me, all of us watching Pansy pulls different outfits out from both our trunks. I have probably tried on over twenty different outfits at this point, each of them getting a no or almost there. I finally walk out in a brown leather skirt, a long sleeve v-neck top, black tights, and brown booties. "Ditch Riddle, let me take you on a date." Draco says as soon as I step out the bathroom. "This is it." Pansy shouts, getting off her bed and handing me my gold necklace that I always wear. "You look gorgeous Y/N." Blaise tells me. I smile at them and nod my head, glancing over at the clock. "Have fun on your date, if he fucks up I'll kill him." Draco tells me, kissing the top of my head before him and Blaise leave my dorm room. I take a deep breath and look back at Pansy. "I want to know every detail, okay?" She tells me, pulling me into a hug. "I'll be with Dean but I'll be back tonight to hear all about it." She tells me, walking out our dorm room. I take another deep breath and sit on my bed as I wait for him to show up and get me now.

It's been two hours and he hadn't showed up, "Fucking piece of shit." I mumble to myself, changing out of my outfit. I throw on a pair of black shorts and a sweatshirt, pulling my hair back in a ponytail. I was furious and upset but I wasn't gonna let anyone see me cry, especially over a stupid boy. I walk up to the boys dorm room, swinging open the door. I just see Theodore, Enzo, Blaise, and Draco hanging out together. "Fucking A Black." Theodore tells me, I startled all the boys when I swung the door open. "Where is he?" I snap, all of them looking at me confused. "Who?" Draco ask me, "Riddle." I say, and I can tell from their faces they realized he never showed up. "He was suppose to be with you." Enzo say, scratching the back of his neck. "He never fucking showed up. I waited like a fucking idiot for two hours, no note, no nothing." I snap, crossing my arms over my chest. "So is this like some sick joke or something? Was it all a prank cause I said I wanted a boyfriend?" I ask them, all of them shaking their heads. "So you know nothing about where he is?" I ask them, "We all thought he was out on a date with you." Theodore tells me, he gets up and walks over to me. I take a step back and shake my head. "I refuse to cry over a stupid boy who didn't even show up for our date. So please I don't need a hug, I just want some space right now Theo." I tell him, turning around and walking out their dorm room.

I slam the door behind me once I get back into my dorm room, I realized Pansy was still out with Dean. I curl up under my covers and stare out my window at the rain hitting my window. Not long after there's a knock on my door, I sit up in my bed. "Come in." I snap, expecting it to be Mattheo. "I know you said you want to be alone but I also know you and know that you can't be left alone with your thoughts." Theodore says, walking into my room. I wasn't as disappointed to not see Mattheo as I thought I would be. I move over in my bed and wave him over, "Thank you." I say softly, he comes and gets in bed next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "I thought he really liked me. He even told Pansy and I earlier he thought he was making it very clear he didn't want to be just friends anymore." I admit to Theo, laying my head on his chest. "I'm sure he has a good reason on why he didn't show up. He came back after quidditch practice and he was getting ready for your date." Theo tells me, running his fingers through my hair. "He better have a good fucking reason." I mumble, already starting to fall asleep while he played with my hair. "If not, I'll kick his ass for you." Theo tells me. I smile and close my eyes, "I don't know what I'd do without you Theo." I mumble, falling asleep on his chest just after he kissed the top of my head.
