My Obsession

Chapter twenty seven:

"Black.... Please hurry Pansy is scaring me." Dean calls out to me, he was standing by the bathroom door. I open the door while I put on my last shoe. "Pansy isn't that scary." I tell him, turning my head to see Pansy staring at the two of us with her arms crossed over her chest. "Now that's scary." I comment, finally getting my black heel on. I decided to go with a black satin dress, he had a huge slit where my right leg is, a
v-neck, and a open back with thin straps to hold it up. I paired it with a pair of black heels, gold jewelry, and curled my hair as well. "You two know how much I hate being late, we had to be downstairs two minutes ago." Pansy snaps at us both, through gritted teeth. Dean walks over and kisses her cheek, "You look very pretty right now." He smiles at her, trying to calm her down. "We'll I'm ready now, let's go." I tell her and Dean opens the door. We can already hear the piano playing from the living room.

The three of us stand at the top of the staircase and look down at the house full of people now, "Holy shit." I comment, looking around at everyone in shock. "We might be a little bit out of our depth here." Pansy comments, glancing at me. Dean grabs Pansy hand and walks the two of them down the stairs. I pick up the side of my dress and slowly walk down, holding onto the railing as I do. I watch Pansy and Dean walk off to the dance floor together, both of them swaying to the soft music playing. I look around the party trying to find the boys, I spot the them standing off to the side of the dance floor. I instantly meet Mattheo's eyes as soon as he spots me. "When you gonna finally ask her out?" Tom teases Mattheo, crossing his arms over his chest and looking over at me as well. The comments causes all the boys to turn and look in my direction. "Your planning on asking her out?" Theodore ask him, turning his attention away from Y/N and looking a bit shocked at Mattheo now. "Of course he was. The boy can't even focus enough on us to answer the question." Tom comments, slapping Mattheo's stomach. "The boy is standing right here and can hear every word your saying right now assholes." Mattheo comments, sticking his hands in his pockets. "50 galleons says he ask her out by the end of the month." Blaise comments first, now causing him, Draco, and Tom to argue about the bet. Theodore and Enzo exchange a look with one another and Theodore shakes his head. "We can all tell Mattheo is obsessed with Y/N but are we so sure she feels the same way?" Theodore questions, "You're a fucking idiot if you think she doesn't feel the same way." Blaise comments, all eyes going back to me talking with Narcissa.

"Thank you so much for coming." Narcissa tells the girls she was talking and the two of us turn away from them. Narcissa spots a group of people walk in through the front door, "Cute boys, don't you think?" Narcissa teases, nodding over to Oliver, Carter, and Quinn walking into the Manor with their families. "They just started at Hogwarts, I met them." I tell her. One of the ladies from the group spots Narcissa and walks over to us both of them pulling the other into a hug. "I'm so happy you could make it." Narcissa tells her as everyone else walks over to us. Oliver raises his eyebrow at me, "I didn't think I'd see you here." He tells me, standing in front of me. "I spent a lot of my childhood here with Draco and his mom." I tell Oliver, I look over his grey suit before I meet his eyes again. "I'm not complaining your here, it's a pleasant surprise." He smiles at me, I playfully roll my eyes at him and turn my attention to the other two boys. "Hi Carter, Hi Quinn." I smile at them. All the adults staring at the four of us now, "This is Y/N Black, a good friend of Draco's and pretty much my daughter." Narcissa introduces me to everyone, I smile and give everyone a small wave. "Kids you are more than welcome to run along and have fun." One of the boys parents tells us and they all walk off together with Narcissa. "What the hell are you guys doing here?" I hear Dean call out, pulling Pansy off the dance floor. He had a huge grin on his face, "I should've figured you'd be here with Pansy." Carter chuckles. I glance over at Pansy. The four boys all go silent which causes Pansy and I both to look back at them, they all had huge grins on their faces. "What'd you do?" Pansy ask Dean. Dean grabs her hand and pulls her away from the party and out the back door, Carter and Quinn follow after them. I raise my eyebrow at Oliver and he grabs my hand and pulls me outside with him, "You'll love it relax." Oliver tells me, closing the back door behind the two of us. I watch Dean carrying Pansy down the stone steps to the dock. I pull my hand away from Oliver, taking my heels off and holding the bottom of my dress while I walk down. "Is it weird if I comment on how gorgeous you look tonight?" Oliver ask me, stopping on the step in front of me with a huge grin on his face. I can't help but smile and raise my eyebrow at him, "It's not weird, it just helps boost my ego even more." I wink at him, chuckling a bit. He smiles at me, putting his hands in his pockets and continuing to walk down to the stone steps to meet everyone else. I can't help but smile when Quinn lights a blunt and hands it over to me. "I think we could all be very good friends." I chuckle, taking a hit and exhaling the smoke slowly. I hand the blunt to Pansy and drop my shoes down, I look out to the huge lake in front of us. "I'm honestly still a bit shocked Malfoy let you stay here." Carter pipes up first, pulling my attention away from the lake. "Yeah, I was a bit shocked when he said yes." Dean comments, taking a hit from the blunt. "You didn't think he would?" I question Dean, taking the blunt from him. He chuckles and shakes his head, "Malfoy and your friends aren't exactly the welcoming kind." Deans say in the nicest way possible. "Especially when it comes to either one of you, they get extra territorial." Dean also adds in. "So that is why I didn't think he'd ever be okay with this." Dean finishes up, walking up behind Pansy and wrapping his arms around her waist and laying his head in her shoulder. I can't help but scoff and roll my eyes at him, "Which ones your boyfriend?" Carter ask me, "Wait, wait, wait. Let me guess who it is." He says, crossing his arms over his chest and staring at me. "It's gotta be either Theodore or Mattheo. Both of them were pretty pissed when Oliver was asking questions about you the night we met you." Carter comments. I glance over at Pansy and she just glared at me and shakes her head, "Let it go." She mouths to me, taking the blunt from my hands. "I'm not dating anyone of them, I'm single." I tell the boys. Oliver raises an eyebrow with a huge smirk on his face, "Single huh?" He ask me, I tilt my head to the side a bit while I look up at him. "Are you surprised by that as well?" I question him, silence falling over everyone else while they look at us both. Pansy chuckles and shakes her head, "Your situation is complicated." Pansy comments, handing me the blunt again. I lightly smack her arm and chuckle, Dean changing the subject off the boys while we finish smoking.
