My Obsession

Chapter forty four:

I rub my eyes and slowly sit up, looking around the room to see everyone still asleep. I slowly push myself up and walk out Draco's room, I walk down to the common room to see Mattheo sitting on the couch. I walk up behind him, kissing his cheek softly and taking his headphones off his ears. "Hi you." I smile standing in front of him now, he smiles at me and leans forward and grabs my hips and pulls me into his lap. I giggle and straddle his lap now and wrap my arms around his neck. "I missed not being in your arms last night." I tell him, looking down at his fingers running slowly up and down my thighs. Mattheo smiles as he stares down at my bare legs his fingers were running against. "You can show me how much you missed me." Mattheo whispers in my ear, lightly kissing my cheek as he works his way down my neck. His damp curls tickle my skin and his cologne is the only thing I smell right now. My fingers run through his hair, I let my head fall back and close my eyes. I bite down on my bottom lips as Mattheo lips move all over my neck, not missing a single spot. "Riddle we can't do this right now, not here in the middle of the common room." I tell him, slowly picking my head up and looking down at him. Mattheo playfully rolls his eyes and leans back into the couch, still keeping his hands on my thighs. "I have a something for you." He tells me, I look at him confused with an my eyebrows pressed together. "It's on your bed." He tells me, without a second question I get off his lap and go to my dorm room. To my surprise I see a little black bag on my bed, I open it and see the necklace I was looking at the other day inside. I gasp softly and slowly run my fingers over it. I walk out to him with a huge smile on my face, holding the necklace up to him. "What is this?" I ask him, he smiles at me and shrugs his shoulders. I sit back down on the couch next to him and turn my back to him and hand him the necklace, pulling my hair out of the way. Mattheo drapes the necklace in front of me and his fingers lightly brush against my skin, clasping the necklace together. I pick up the green jewel, I lean back into his chest and smile at him. "I love it, thank you." I tell him, laying my cheek on his shoulder, already getting lost in his dark brown eyes. I put my hand on his cheek and pull his lips down to my mine, kissing him softly. Mattheo and I spent the rest of the morning cuddled up together while we waited for everyone else to wake up.

An owl flys into the common room and drops a letter in my lap, Mattheo and I exchange a weird look before I open the letter:
'Y/N, girls night in my room tonight! I've already sent one to Pansy as well, be here at 6! -Ginny'
I laugh a little at the letter and look over at Mattheo, "What does girls night look like?" He ask me, running his fingers slowly through my hair. "Drinking, gossip, dares, secrets, murder." I tease him and he pushes my shoulder a bit. "Pansy and I don't sleep over we just leave before everyone goes to bed, I will not sleep in Gryffindor common room." I tell him, making a gagging sound at the the thought of it. Pansy comes running down the stairs soon after with her letter in her hands, "Ahhhh, girls night." Pansy shouts, jumping into my lap. "First girls night of the year." She says in the most exciting voice. Mattheo and I both laugh at her excitement, she stops freaking out when she noticed the necklace around my neck. "You didn't tell me you bought it, I didn't think you would." She asks me, picking the jewel up and looking it over. "I didn't, Mattheo bought it for me." I tell her, looking at him over my shoulder. "Seriously best boyfriend around, I didn't know you had that side to you Riddle." She tells him and gets off my lap and sits down next to us. "Boyfriend, I like the sound of that." Mattheo admits, looking away from Pansy and down to me. My cheeks go a bit red and I bet Pansy jaw was on the ground, "Who has a boyfriend?" Enzo calls out to the us, pulling our attention to the rest of the boys walking down the stairs. "I like the sound of being called Y/N's boyfriend, that was my comment." Mattheo admits to them, still keeping his arm wrapped around me. I smirk with bright red cheeks and look at Pansy, she was living for this moment. She loves drama, she watched as all the boys took a seat and looked around at one another. I bet you one of them was trying to figure out if it was true or not. "We gotta get everything ready for tonight." I tell Pansy to break up the tension in the room. She looks at me completely dumbfounded, I get up and grab her hand. She reluctantly gets up and goes down to our dorm room. "I'll see you later." I smile at Mattheo, leaning down to kiss his cheek before I walk off. "So you two are dating now?" Theodore questions him, sitting across from Mattheo, staring daggers at him. If looks could kill. "Figuring everything out." He tells the boys, tossing his stuff on the coffee table. "This is gonna mess up the friend group." Blaise comments, acting all stressed out. "You can't date a girl if she's in the friend group bud." Draco adds in, acting just as stressed out. All the boys now looking at Draco and Blaise confused. "You can't date her." Draco shouts, pointing at Mattheo, "You can't date her." He says and points at Theodore. "It just completely changes the dynamics of the group." Enzo adds in, now everyone realizes they're all joking around. "No dibs." Enzo says, shaking his head, "You can't call dibs?" Mattheo questions just to mess with them some more. "Y/N has a huge red X on her chest, off limits my guy." Draco shouts making an X over Blaise's body to showcase his point. Mattheo glanced at Tom who is just shaking his head and chuckling to himself, the room goes silent as Draco, Blaise, and Enzo look around to get everyone to agree. "I'm still gonna date her, didn't change my mind." Mattheo tells them, huge cocky smirk on his lips.
