And from then on Kang Yohan was always in front of me. Intentionally or not. Wherever I go he was always there somehow.

It started getting annoying again. I mean I was annoyed at him from the start but then he saved me and my daughter. And I thought he's not so bad. But he has no respect for his own image, I guess.

Like, last week. I was in the Jipuragi law firm and I had to go to Suyeong's elementary school for a parent teacher meeting. After I finished talking to the teacher-in-charge and got out, I found a luxury car parked on the opposite side of the kindergarten. People were looking at the car looking conspiratorial, whispering among themselves. I wouldn't have paid much attention to it, if it wasn't for Suyeong running towards the same car.

"Ajussi!"

And no doubt, a handsome man in a coat stood there smiling at my daughter.

"Suyeong ah!"

I couldn't hold my daughter back. Afraid that something would happen I rushed after her too.

"Suyeong ah!" I shouted after her. "Don't run."

Though nothing happened and she was finally held and lifted up by the other man. My daughter giggled and expressed an endless amount of happiness, surprising even me. When did they get so close?

I didn't want to say anything. But I couldn't stop myself before the words were already out of my mouth.

"When did you two get so close?"

Well crap! Now Kang Yohan is looking at me smiling smugly, as if competing with me for my daughter's love was fun.

"Well I do come here to meet a certain young lady often."

Then he looks at Suyeong and both their faces were filled with mischief. I raised my eyebrows provoking them to spill everything they were hiding, but it was harder that I thought it would be.

Yohan helped Suyeong on the back of the car which surprisingly had a carseat attatched to it.

"Why do you have a carseat? Even I don't have one."

Yohan snapped his head towards me. I didn't know what triggered him that his face looked surprised and angry. Well I didn't really want to know.

"You don't have a carseat? So you're risking a six years old's life while driving around with her?"

What!?

Yohan closed the backseat door to prevent Suyeong from listening. As he finally looked at me face-to-face. His height was similar to mine, so he got eye-level with me.

"And why do you think I don't know how to protect my daughter?"

I wanted to refute. But I knew too that I was risking her safety. And I didn't want to admit that Kang Yohan was right.

"I don't wanna know how you can do that and I'm not willing to argue with you either. I'll just give you the carseat so I know Suyeong is safe."

"And why would I take anything from you?"

"You will." Kang Yohan moved threateningly closer to me. The parents and passerby were all looking at us standing in a conspicuous position.

"Why?"

"Because I care about Suyeong."

He moves back and opens the passanger door. As he just keeps it open, he moves back to enter the driver's side. Entering the car he waited a few moments for me to get on the car. And here I was standing motionless and dumbfounded.

What just happened? What did he say again?

I shook my head to get every question out of my mind. This is not the time. This is not the time. I kept repeating in my head as I got in, sat in the passanger side, and fastened the seatbelt.
