𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟻

"Uh...guys!" Humpty suddenly screams as he slips off the giant leaf of the beanstalk.

"Humpty!" You and Puss exclaim at the same time."

"I do not see him. Did you see him?" He asked you.

"I don't see him anywhere." You replied. Kitty leaped out of nowhere, and dived into the clouds.

"Kitty!" You yelled, but there was no response.

"You sound...weird." He said, chuckling. Suddenly, Humpty pops out of one of the clouds.

"It's the thin air. Come on in, it feels great!" Humpty yelled, and Kitty was behind him. You slid down the beanstalk, using the leaves as a slide.

"The cloud, it tickles my nose!" Puss said.

"It's all because of the upper vest!" Who knew?" Humpty mused to himself, Kitty still following him. You were confused. Why wasn't Kitty having fun? Or maybe this just wasn't her forte. You saw Puss quietly laugh and Humpty's excitement and you threw a cloud ball at him. You started laughing at the look on his face, but then felt a cloud ball hit you. He laughed at you, and you grinned.

"Come on." You taunted him, and he began chasing you around the cloud paradise. He ran faster through the sea of clouds, and you stopped to look around. You saw a familiar shadow hiding behind a cloud, his hat sticking out. You giggled at his stupidness.

"Gotcha!" You said with triumph, but all you got was a hat. Suddenly, something toppled you over so that you were on top. You looked down and saw Puss.

"Meow~" He said, and you practically melted at his voice.

"Hey Puss, what do you think? Do I need to shave?" Humpty asked, suddenly appearing out of the clouds, and you immediately got off of Puss. "Let me show you something." He told him, leading Puss away. He glared at you, and Kitty had a smug look on her face.

"What the fuck?" You whispered to yourself. You shook your head, and looked around, till you saw the giant's castle.

"Boys, you might wanna take a look at this." You yelled, and they came over, Kitty behind Humpty. There was a giant castle floating on an abode of clouds.

"The giant's castle! Okay, time to suit up." Humpty announced, and he began disrobing, and you covered your eyes.

"Humpty!" Puss yelped in disgust. Kitty sighed and also covered her eyes.

"Brilliant or what?" He asked smugly.

"More like disgusting." You gagged.

"Humpty, you're not wearing underwear." Kitty exclaimed. He did some stretching.

"What? Are you embarrassed? I'm not." He said, finishing his stretches and opened his notebook.

"Puss, remember when everyone was laughing at bean club? And who is laughing now? We are!" Humpty told Puss as they walked ahead, leaving you and Kitty behind. 

"Did I do something wrong?" You asked Kitty.

"No, you haven't. I just want this to be all over. I want my gold." She answered harshly.

"Our gold." You corrected her. She rolled her eyes and ran forward to catch up. You ran as well, barely making it on the floating cloud. The cloud floated higher, until you saw a beautiful stained glass painting of a goose. The cloud gently hit the stained glass painting and you jumped down. You creeped over to the crack and stepped inside, Puss, Kitty and Humpty following you. You peered down from the ledge and saw a giant tree.

"That is our target." Humpty whispered.

"Hey, you don't sound like an elf anymore." You added.

"It's because the air pressure in here is normal." Humpty explained.

"Let's go!" Puss yelled, and began sliding down the carpet with his claws, with Humpty grabbing onto his legs, you doing the same and Kitty just slid down with her rapier. "So here is the plan." Puss said while sliding down. "You two get the golden eggs, Y/N and I will fight the giant." Puss declared.

"There's no giant to fight. The giant's been dead for years." Humpty replied.

"What?!" Puss exclaimed, his voice sounded a bit disappointed.

"You didn't do the reading, did you? Oh, boy! Jack and the beanstalk, chapter fourteen. Giant takes a big dirt nap." Humpty responded, letting go of Puss' legs and hopped down. "Ah, ankle burn." Your ears pricked up and heard a loud roar. You hid behind the carpet tassels and Puss pulled Humpty behind one.

"What was that?" Kitty asked.

"They call it The Great Terror. It's the monster that guards the golden goose." Humpty began. He ran to a nearby table leg, and you all followed. "Legend has it that if you look at it, you'll turn to stone. But nobody really knows, because nobody's walked away from it alive. Follow me and keep quiet." He whispered. You followed Humpty towards the golden goose but Humpty suit kept squeaking loudly.

"Humpty! Shh!" Kitty whisper yelled.

"I can't...I can't help it! Everything's rubbing and pinching. I need powder!" Humpty complained, out of breath. He ran over and knocked the champagne bottle, which hit a glass cup. You peered over the edge and waited for about 3 seconds until you heard it shatter. There was another loud roar, and you hid behind the champagne bottle. You peered from the side, wondering how you would get across.

"How do we get across?" Humpty asked. Puss tapped the bottle with his claw.

"Champagne." He answered. You found some nearby robe and tied it to the cork. You held onto the cork, and Puss stabbed the cork with his rapier, and went flying across the chasm. You let out a squeal of surprise, and landed on some surprisingly soft grass. You stood up, your head spinning a little. You heard another loud roar, and the plants were shaking, as if the Great Terror was coming your way.

"Do not worry. I will protect you." Puss said. You picked up the cork and began searching for a sturdy branch.

"What are you gonna do? Hit it in the head with a guitar?" You asked sarcastically.

"Please, stop bringing up the guitar." Puss sighed, and found a place to put the cork. You pulled on the rope and released it, which made it shake. You and Puss ran back to the Chasm, where Humpty and Kitty made their way over. You grabbed your sister's paw, and Puss grabbed Humpty. There was another loud roar, and you quickly ran into the forest with Puss.

"Hide!" You said, ushering them inside a broken log. You looked through the hole and wanted to see the Great Terror, but Puss pulled you down.

"Don't look at it!" Humpty exclaimed.

"We don't want you to turn into rock, now do we señorita?" Puss whispered into your ears. You couldn't help but feel your ears burning hot again.

'What is wrong with me?' You thought. You glanced up through the hole again, and saw a bright red eye, staring back at you, before the eye left.

"So I didn't turn into stone. Interesting." You mused. Humpty suddenly started breathing very loudly.

"Humpty shush!" Kitty whispered.

"Be quiet!" You added. He then tried to say something, but you pulled on the drawstring of his suit to muffle his voice. He started complaining, and Puss pulled the drawstring down.

"Hey, you gotta get it together. C'mon." Puss said.

"Okay." Humpty replied, calming down. You continued exploring the forest, till you reached a land full of golden eggs.

"We did it!" You cheered.
