Like A Corpse!

"Ying'er! Come here!" Alpha Lan Wangi ordered in his no-nonsense tone.

However, instead of moving towards the Alpha, Omega Wei Wuxian took a step back, mumbling incoherent words to himself while sweating and shaking, uncontrollably

"Ying'er, I SAID COME HERE!" Alpha Lan Wangji raised his voice, feeling worried for his Ying'er but the Omega was too far gone in his thoughts, fears and all the what-ifs that might've happened, to hear and understand his Zhan ge's words. 

His whole body was shaking so badly that even Wei Ying, Lan Zhan, Healer Fu, Wen Ning and all the others started worrying about him even when they knew nothing wrong will happen to him as long as Wei Ying was fine.

"YING!!!" Alpha Lan Wangji shouted, shaking his Ying'er out of his daze who looked back at his Zhan ge, eyes filled with unshed tears and lips quivering with emotions as he cried out, "Ge!"

Alpha Lan Wangji sighed, closing his eyes for a second and then walked up to his Ying'er, picked him up in his arms, carried him back to where he was sitting on the bed near Wei Ying, Lan Zhan and a sleeping baby, adjusted his Ying'er in a comfortable position in his lap, wrapped his arms around his shaking body, protectively and said in his calm soothing voice, "It's fine, my baby. I'm here."

"Ge! H-he tt-touched m-me! Mo- Mo Xuan-yu c-could ha-ve, could've taken ad-advantage o-of my condition and I-I wo-n't be able t-to STOP HIM!!!" Omega Wei Wuxian cried out, hiccuping and gasping, clutching his Zhan ge's clothes, tightly as if his life depended on it.

"No. Trust me...just- first you need to calm down, baby. Ssshhhhh! Listen to me, Ying'er. Stop crying my sweetheart and please, just listen to your Zhan ge! Will you?!" Alpha Lan Wangji said gently and calmly, rubbing soothing circles in his Ying'er back to make him feel relaxed and protected in his arms.

After a while of crying and breathing in his Zhan ge's cool sandalwood scent, omega Wei Wuxian finally relaxed in his Zhan ge's arms, took a deep breath to calm his frayed nerves and muttered hesitantly in a shaky voice, "Ying'er is listening."

Alpha Lan Wangji smiled and said in an absolutely serious tone, "Good boy! Now, please, listen carefully and remember one thing very very clearly, my Ying'er. I, Lan Wangji, your Zhan ge, your friend, lover, soulmate and husband, care about nothing and no one except You. Only YOU. 

I am a selfish person, Ying'er. And I'm not ashamed to admit it! I wouldn't have it the other way. 

I know you might not like me now, that you're learning my truths but this is who I really Am. Our childhood, all those hardships and darkness that Xichen and I had to face as we grew up turned us this way. The only way we were able to protect what's precious to us.

The only way to protect ourselves. Turning the prey into the most savage and ruthless predators!

You can love me or hate me but nothing will change the fact that I can burn the entire world, kill every single being and even myself without a second thought if it could bring a smile to your face and protect you from harm. 

Forget about Mo Xuanyu who tried to lay his filthy hands on you, I have grown up killing people who even dared to think about you in a wrong way and this isn't going to change. Mo Xuanyu will receive what he signed up for, A Ticket To Hell." Alpha Lan Wangji gave a sweet smile to his stunned Ying'er, booped his cute nose with his own and said, "Are we feeling good now? Shall we continue?!"

Omega Wei Wuxian could only nod slowly, unable to wrap his mind around this new completely different personality of his Zhan ge from the aloof, cold and silent one that he grew up with. But the fact that shocked him to the core was, he seemed to feel even more attracted to his lethally smiling Zhan ge!
