The Cold Truth

Omega Wei Wuxian was shocked, horrified and speechless. He tried opening his mouth to say something, anything, any word to comfort his Zhan ge and alleviate his anger, his frustration but he just...couldn't!

Was it all just pity and repentance that they felt for him?

Was it all an act of repaying the debts on behalf of Uncle Qiren who destroyed his life, killed his parents and used him for his own selfish goals?

Did they ever really love him and care for him?

Omega Wei Wuxian nodded, feeling slightly better after hearing his Zhan ge's passionate words but definitely overwhelmed with all the truth that his Zhan ge has revealed so far. He wanted to run away from this cruel reality, for the sake of keeping his sanity but knew it will only delay but won't decrease his pain in any way.

Therefore, he willed himself, prepared his heart and mind to hear what more cruelty lay ahead in the story and embraced himself to take more blows on his scarred soul while trying to keep his sanity in check and said calmly, his voice devoid of emotions, "I want to hear everything till the very end, Zhan ge.
