Elliot had always found something unsettling about the quietness of libraries. Such silence made a person stop and think and thinking was exactly what they didn't want to do. They paused by a low bookshelf and shook their head. All they needed to worry about was finding Mammon. As long as Mammon could get them out of this mess that was all that mattered.

Mammon was sitting at a desk at the back of the library with an uncustomary pair of reading glasses placed upon his nose. Mammon sighed and leaned back in his chair. "That's rich comin' from the one askin' THE great Mammon for help." He stretched his arms over his head and took off his glasses. "If you're gonna waste my time. Just leave."

Elliot flinched and slumped to the chair adjacent to Mammon. This was a massive pain in the ass. They were hoping Mammon was going to be the meek type, but no such luck. "Alright, you've got me. Please, I just..." More than a pain in the ass this was getting incredibly humiliating.  Elliot blushed as they took Mammon's hand. "I'm sorry, Please, help me."

"Mmm." Mammon's eyes widened as a hint of red flooded his own cheeks. "Geez, you're gonna make the librarian yell at me again. I'll help ya, so let go of me already." As Elliot removed their hands Mammon took a breath as his face returned to normal. "This ain't because I'm afraid of Lucifer either. I just felt like helpin' ya is all."

"Yes, I understand!" Elliot was beaming like a child with candy. "I can't thank you enough!" Tears streaked down their cheeks. "Thank you..."
