Chapter 13

"Let's take a look at the bands performing today!" Somi suggested and we all piled around a piece of paper that was taped to the wall near the entrance.

"Uh wow!!! Look, The Script will be playing in an hour!" Jake said putting his finger on the paper.

My eyes traveled further down and I saw that Union J and Ed Sheeran were also going to be playing tonight, but around 10pm, when the atmosphere would definitely be 'romantic'.

"Hellooooo! Union J and Ed Sheeran are playing tonight!" I said to Giselle and her eyes lit up with excitement.

"Really?"

"Yeah..." Ningning fell silent. "But it's at 10 o'clock tonight, I think we can stay until then..."

"No, we can't" Yeji said.

"Why not?"

"Because... I have a party at 8, so we have to leave around six because I don't want to be late."

"Come on Yeji... Please! We beg you!" Giselle said.

"I said I can't and that's it!"

I pouted with sadness and looked down at my shoes.

"Well come on then, let's make the most of it now!" Lia said clapping her hands and everyone agreed.

I knew I wasn't going to have fun here, because now I knew I was going to miss out on seeing Ed Sheeran and Union J live and for so little money.

"What should we start with?" Ningning asked excitedly as she grabbed a map from a small stand.

"Let's go to the biggest Russian mountain!" Beomgyu suggested.

"I really don't like that kind of thing..." I muttered. "I'll wait for you guys here."

"Oh come on, Ryu... Don't be a killjoy!" Beomgyu pushed me a little. And I rolled my eyes.

"No, thanks..."

"Come on, it will be fun!!!"

"Just go already!" Yeji muttered and Beomgyu raised an eyebrow.

"Aren't you coming, Yej?"

"I just ate a sandwich, I don't want to throw up..."

"Alright, see you in ten" Beomgyu said and winked at me before turning around and joining the rest of the group in line to ride the roller coaster.

My stomach at that moment growled and my eyes darted to the ice cream stand in front of us.

"Are you hungry?" Yeji asked me.

"A little bit."

"Come on, I'll buy you a cone."

"Oh, thanks..." I said as we approached the booth.

"What flavor do you want?"

"I can't choose between chocolate and tangerine" I pouted because they were my two favorite flavors, but I always had a hard time choosing between one of them.

"One chocolate tangerine ice cream, please" Yeji said to the girl who was obviously undressing her with her eyes.

She handed me the ice cream and smiled at Yeji. Who simply handed her the money, seemingly disinterested.

I licked the ice cream like a cat and then looked down at the floor, pouting again. I was really looking forward to seeing Ed Sheeran and Union J, especially Union J.

"What's with the angry face?" She asked and touched my cheek with her index finger.

"Nothing... I wanted to see Ed Sheeran and Union J live, it's sure going to be crazy!"
