Yeji pulled up in front of my house, so I got out, before she pulled into the driveway and parked the car.

I opened the door and turned around to see if she was still coming, she was.

She followed me inside after I closed the door, I ditched my shoes and jacket, then put on my pink shoes.

"Isn't it a little chilly?" She asked and I shrugged, before quickly going upstairs to get a blanket so I could wrap up.

She left everything we bought on the coffee table and I grabbed the box of tampons and went to the bathroom. Soon when I came back, she was already resting her feet on the table, with the open bag of Skittles in her lap, watching some crappy TV show.

"We'll watch my movies first." She said and I frowned.

"No, we won't. I was the one with the idea, so mine will go first." I folded my arms.

"Jesus... It's okay, there's no need to get cranky. I guess it's normal for this time of the month, isn't it?"

"Stop talking about it... I told you it makes me uncomfortable."

Then she decided to ignore me and pulled some more Skittles out of the bag.

"You get to choose." I said walking up to her and stood in front of her. I held up the three movies so we could watch it.

"Which one is the shortest?" She asked and I rolled my eyes. "Okay, okay... The one with the two people kissing in the rain." She said smiling pointing to the DVD, before she suddenly spread her legs and pulled me onto her lap.

I squealed and she smiled before looking down at my lips. Her hands were on my thighs and then she sat up straight so we could join our lips.

"Mmm... No, Yeji." I surprised myself by saying.

I really wasn't in the mood right now. I could already feel the cramps building up in my stomach.

"What?" She asked in surprise, leaning her head back against the couch so she could get a better view of me.

"I'm really not in the mood."

"You're not in the mood for what? We never do anything but kiss." She muttered.

I felt like I had a knot in my stomach after she said those words. I turned away from her and went to put the movie on the DVD. Then I sat down, but as far away from her as I could.

I wrapped myself in the blanket and grabbed the bowl of popcorn I had put in the microwave.

The movie was already at the part where the parents told her she couldn't see Noah anymore, because apparently, they were just a summer fling.

"Who says summer loves can't last?" I muttered at the screen as I finished the last handful of popcorn.

"They don't last... That's just the way it is." Yeji said, shrugging and taking a sip from her beer bottle.

"Yes, it can happen" I struggled, turning back to her.

"No, it won't happen. He'll leave after the summer is over and he didn't tell her."

"They're going to meet in the end, their paths will come together again..."

"Ugh, you already ruined the ending." She pouted sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes and set the bowl of popcorn on the table.

"You know what? If you don't want to watch this with me, leave."

She frowned and I glared at her to show her that I was serious. I knew perfectly well that this was just hormones from my period, I would never be so rude to her.
