My fingers tangled in her orange hair and my legs began to dangle with the rhythm of the music. Yeji gripped my legs tightly and I was thankful, because if she didn't, I probably would have fallen off by now.
When they finally said goodbye and took a big bow, the girls in front of us decided that Ed Sheeran wasn't worth watching, so they just left.
Yeji took a few steps forward and I almost lost my balance.
"Yeji" I said, "Put me down."
Her hands went to my legs and went to my hips before she bent down to put me down.
"Don't you want to come closer?" She asked me confused.
"Yes, but I don't think we can get any closer than this..."
"We can get to the front, come on..."
"No... We'll piss everyone off" I looked at her confused.
"Trust me..." She said and I did.
She grabbed my wrist and pulled me with her through the huge amount of people standing around. Somehow Yeji managed to get to the front, so I pressed myself against the barriers that were a couple of feet from the stage.
I looked for Yeji with my eyes, scared that I had lost her. But she was right behind me, hands in her pockets, looking at me.
I put my hands on the bars and climbed up on the barrier to be a foot taller and get a better view of the stage.
Yeji appeared next to me and I felt strange as I was now taller than her.
I almost fainted minutes later when I saw Ed Sheeran coming on stage with his guitar, before sitting on the chair placed in the middle of the stage. He introduced himself and told everyone that he would be performing four of his best songs, Give Me Love, Kiss Me, The A Team and Little Bird.
He started with Little Bird and I watched Yeji out of the corner of my eye. She actually seemed to like the music.
At the end of The A Team I almost slipped, but fortunately I held back at the last second. And I almost died when Ed Sheeran said 'watch out'. Which meant he had seen me.
Kiss me started off and I loved the song.
But my heart stopped when I felt someone's chest pressed against my back; judging by the smell of beer mixed with the smell of..... Yeji, I already knew who it was. I felt her chin pressed against my shoulder and her hands were placed on either side of mine on the barrier.
And in a strange way, I felt good, I felt safe.
I hummed Give Me Love, even though I couldn't concentrate because Yeji was so close and I didn't want her to move away.
But she did, after Ed thanked everyone and announced the next act, which was a girl band I had never heard of, I turned around to look at Yeji.
"Do you want to go home?" I asked her.
"We have one more stop to make," She said before asking me to stay close as we walked away from the crowd.
The lights were amazing at night and I found myself looking up as we walked towards where Yeji wanted to go.
Then she stopped at the booth where Beomgyu won me the teddy bear.
"What are we doing here?"
"Finishing what that idiot couldn't do..." She said and slapped a ten dollar bill on the counter and got ten balls.
She knocked down two pyramids in the first round and got the same Minnie Mouse from Beomgyu.
"Yeji, I don't think you should spend your money, you know you won't knock down three pyramids if you didn't do it before..."
