Chapter 18

We arrived at the house where the party was being held that day, but it looked completely different than when it was being trashed by drunken teenagers. She locked the car and we walked across the lawn to the door, ringing the doorbell. 

"Hey!" Karina said as she opened the door alone in a bikini, her hair was wet and she was wearing sunglasses.

"Hi, baby." Yeji greeted her and hugged her with one arm, before the black-haired girl smiled at me and stepped aside to let us in.

We went inside and immediately followed to the back door that led to the pool.

"Bitch!" Yeji exclaimed as we entered the backyard.

The party boy, Karina's boyfriend was sitting on the couch, drinking something. He had tattoos on his upper body, but he wasn't like Yeji, he didn't have piercings.

Yeji sat in the chair next to him and I sat next to her.

"Who else is coming?" Yeji asked as she took off her shirt.

Chris shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know."

"Seungmin is coming?" Yeji asked.

"Probably." Chris said nonchalantly.

Yeji shot me a knowing look and I rolled my eyes.

"Why aren't you in a bikini yet?" Yeji asked me as he took off his pants.

"Oh, yes!" I said and took off my shoes, before removing my shoulder bag and jeans.

Yeji ran and jumped into the pool. I meanwhile took off my shirt and put everything else on my chair. Before walking to the pool.

I could feel her feline eyes on me as I dipped a toe in the water. To test the temperature.

"Oh come on! It's not even cold!" She exclaimed rolling her eyes.

"Is it deep in there?" I asked.

"Does it look deep to you here?" She asked arching an eyebrow. The water was up to above his belly button, so I was safe. "Just jump in!" She said as I started walking to the stairs.

"No, I need to adjust." She let out a laugh.

"Adjust? Adjust to what? What the hell are you talking about?! Are you serious!?"

I ignored her and grabbed the bars, putting one foot on the stairs. I saw her smile and walk towards me.

"No, don't you dare splash me!"

"Or what?" she asked with an evil grin.

"I'll never speak to you again, I swear!"

Yeji rolled her eyes and took a step back. I squealed a little as I dipped my feet into the pool. The water came up to my belly button. As I walked deeper into the pool it got deeper and I stopped when the water was up to my chest.

"Do you even know how to teach swimming?" I asked.

"I know the basics." She took a few steps back where the water would definitely be much deeper for me. "Try swimming toward me."

"But I don't know how to swim."

"Just do it." She said and I sighed, before I started swimming like a dog towards her.

And she was laughing at me. Great! I stopped when I was about a foot away from her and held onto her shoulders.

"It's a start..." She said and caught my sides. "Doggy style is always a good start." She added and smiled.
