Chapter 22

When I woke up that Thursday morning, it was cloudy outside and I immediately knew it was going to be a rainy day. Which also meant it was going to be a day of Tumblr, Supernatural and movies.

When I realized that I was literally drooling on Yeji's chest, I sat up and wiped the corner of my lip and also her chest.

"Mmm baby, if you want to rub me, do it somewhere else..." she said and opened her eyes before rubbing them.

I rolled my eyes, but smiled when I realized she looked like a little girl who just woke up and had had a nightmare.

"Shut-"

"Ryujin... Ryujin are you there?" My grandmother's voice was heard from outside my room.

My eyes widened and Yeji bit her lip smiling.

"I heard talking, I'm coming in."

"Under the bed!" I whispered and she looked at me confused but I pushed her out of bed, just as the door opened and grandma came in.

I saw Yeji's orange hair disappear under the bed and looked at my grandmother smiling.

"Hey grandma, what's wrong?" I asked her and then noticed her elegant appearance. "Are you going somewhere?"

"Your grandfather and I were invited to a wedding today. It's going to be in Seoul, so we're spending the night there. We'll be home tomorrow, probably around dark."

"And you had to wake me up to tell me this?"

"Well, I was thinking of leaving a note on the bathroom mirror, but I walked by your room and heard you were awake. I thought you slept at your friends' house today."

"Oh no, I came home."

"Well, there's money on the kitchen counter, in case you guys want to order a pizza or something. And if you go out, which I really don't recommend since they said it was going to rain today, make sure you lock the door."

"Yes, grandma."

"Don't forget to eat, okay?"

"Yes, grandma."

"I don't want you to relapse, no one wants that."

"Grandma, you should go. It's getting late." I murmured to her.

"Don't change the subject, Miss."

"I'll go back to sleep... Goodnight."

I threw myself tightly on the bed and pulled the blanket over my head. Then I heard her let out a sigh.

"Okay, I'm leaving now, behave yourself. Oh and if you don't feel comfortable being home alone tonight, you can sleep with Yuna at Somi's or whatever."

I didn't respond and she said goodbye before I heard the door close. I got out of bed because I had to pee, but stopped when I remembered Yeji.

"Yeji." I said and watched her crawl under the bed. Before crawling back into bed and covering herself with the sheet.

"Let me sleep..." She mumbled and I rolled my eyes.

I grabbed some clothes from the closet and went to the bathroom to change. I was going to spend today probably on Tumblr, doing some homework later. After peeing, I found myself cursing because fuck, my period had just come and oh joy, there was only a single tampon left.

"Please God! Not today!" I muttered after taking a shower and brushing my teeth. I did a little makeup, but didn't straighten my hair because it was slightly curly at the ends.

I needed to go to the drugstore to buy some tampons. How the hell was I going to get there? It's raining ugh!

I put on my pink puppy shoes, which I loved because they were so comfortable and there was no need for socks thanks to the soft material inside.
