C20. The search

JENNIE

It has been a week since lisa's break down,she's slowly coping up,but often would wake up in the middle of the night crying in fear. Of course I was there to comfort her,which leaves me sleepless some night,I didn't wish to close my eyes,thinking my girlfriend might wake up crying again. I never left her side since then,I'm scared she'd break down once again and be left lonely.

Today though,lisa was picked up by Irene from the penthouse,she brought her out to give me some time to rest. I,of course refuse ,I love being around lisa all the time even if it means by me being restless,she would often space out and just tear up. Irene insisted,she also told me it was long after their last sister out bond,so I agreed. Maybe she would loosen up a bit with her best friends.

Tapping my table,I fished out my phone and dialed Bobby's number. He was sent by me to watch out for the girls. But I thought of something...

On call...

"Young lady"

"How are they doing?" I asked as I turned my swivel chair around. Facing my home office's wall. Lisa's grinning face was hang up,with our picture beside it. I miss her smiles.

"Ms. Bae and Ms. Park are currenrtly leading the young master on a fastfood chain. I am currently 10 meters away from them."

"Good. Get back here and inform,Irene. I need to discuss something with you." I immediately hang up the phone as he agreed and promised to be here in 20 minutes.

I wanted to put an end with lisa's suffering. She doesn't deserve any of it. I am at the edge of losing my sanity seeing my ball of sunshine turning gloomy everyday,and now,I have a plan. And bobby is the only one I know worth of my trust for this...

I crossed my legs as bobby sat in front of me here in my couch. I took a sip from my coffee before clearing my throat.

"I want you to look for Lisa's father." I directly said which he frowned at.

"I learned the reason of lisa's current sufferings. I want to put an end on it,and I want you to search for that man." I ordered before uncrossing my arms.

"Get every information you can about him. Specially his whereabouts." He nodded his head as I took a small piece of paper and slowly put it down on the center table.

"His name is Stephen Jiro Manoban." He took the paper and stared at it before nodding.

"If this helps bringing the Young Master back to her old bubbly self,I'm willing to do it,Young lady. Please know that I am willing to help for the Young Master's sake. I don't need any amount for this,Youg lady" He stated and bowed his head. He grew close to lisa as months passed by.

"Years of being your personal driver and assitant,I never saw you smile and laugh the way you do with the young master. I knew from then you found your happiness in her. And the young master herself is kind and deserving of your love,young lady. It isn't that hard for us your workers to be close to her also." He stated which made me smile and I mouthed a thank you to him which he just nodded before leaving.

Guess it won't be that hard to cheer lisa up.

LISA

"We'll go now. Bye,love,jennie. Please take care of my sister." Irene noona bid as she stand on the gate,ready to climb in the car with rosé any minute now. It is already 5pm and she got a call from her Mom,summoning her to go home so they drove me here.

"Yes,unnie. Rest assured." Jennie gently responded as she rubs my back gently,running sparks of electricity through my body. They smiled at each other before my bestfriends left. I stared at jennie's smiling face. She seemed so peacefull right now.

I knew I troubled jennie this past few weeks of my break downs. I'm just thankful she never complained which I did not wish for her to do so. It's just sometimes I felt like a burden to her,feeling guilty of her restless features,her eyes have grown tired and sleepy almost drawing black circles under her eyes,but still beautiful as ever. Sheesh,how did I get so lucky?

"You could take a picture." She stated,breaking the comfortable silence that is wrapped around us. Her chuckled sounded before she turned around and look up at me,flashing her cute gummy smile. My favorite smile.

"How's your day out? hmm?? I missed you though." She pouted at the end of her sentence which made me slightly chuckle. Jennie's cute rants and adorable acts are the only things to keep me sane now since my nightmares came back.

"It was good,I get to play on arcades with Rosé unnie with Irene noona looking at us like we're some kids. And I miss you more nini." I stated and hugged her lightly. She sighed before slowly rubbing my arm.

"Let's get inside,it's getting dark and cold out here." She said before pulling out and grabbing my hand,dragging me inside the house. Yeah,house. I actually forgot to mention we are currently on Jennie's parent's home? Well,her dad's out which means we are alone for now. I haven't really met her dad.

"Are we going to spend the night here?" I ask as we entered,maids and butlers greeted us.

"Dad asked me to." She replied with a pout before dropping herself on the sofa. She hissed and crossed her arms.

"Well,that's fine. It's kinda cozy here. It's nice." I stated and settled down beside her,wrapping my arm around her shoulder. She huff and pouted even more.

"But you don't sleep with new environtments." She whined. True though,I don't feel comfortable sleeping in a new place.

"I'll be fine,hun. Besides,I'm with you." I answered which she sighed deeply before nodding.
