C44. First year searching.

"Jendukie! Come on,it'll only be for three days."

"I said I don't wanna go out,Chu. Just leave me alone."

"Alright,but call me if you need anything,arasso? Advance Happy New Year,Jendukie." She sighed and left.

It's two days before New Year's Eve. Everybody's busy preparing for it,my friends,well,they planned to go to Jeju for three days. My Parents,they called me last night to celebrate the New Years with them,but I declined.

This might be weird but somehow,I want to spend my New Year here. At home. At Our Home. Alone.

Now,I'm left alone. I've got the peace I wanted,but I know deep inside my New Year won't be a Happy New Year. I knew this three days will be filled with sorrow and longing.

Today is the day my Mom and her got into an accident. The last day I've seen her,and there's nothing else I could wish for than to have her back,but it can't be possible.

I wish to go back to that day,so I could hold her tight,so tight that she won't be able to leave me alone in that cold bed to go and shop with Mom.

It's only been a year,but it felt like decades from the last time I saw her face. Her smiles.

I cried as I hold on to our picture frame,hoping I was holding onto her instead and thinking that I would never let go again,I would keep her safe,protect her from everyone.

Deep inside I knew I can't do anything to be able to hold her again,to cuddle her. I just wish I was there when she needed me most,I wish I went with them to shopping that day,I wish I was there to comfort her during her last days.

It was only a couple of months ago when a sudden news shook me to hell. A news I never wished to hear.

'LONG LOST GIRLFRIEND OF THE YOUNG CEO JENNIE KIM HAS BEEN FOUND DEAD AFTER THE REPORTED CRASH OF HER ABDUCTOR'S CHOPPER'

The Chopper that was said to be on its way to Los Angeles have encountered an error and crashed causing the death of the 5 people inside,namely Chou Tzuyu and the long lost girlfriend of Jennie Kim,Lalisa Manoban together with two said bodyguards and the pilot itself. The bodies have been found deeply burnt and could hardly be recognized aside from the belongings that pointed out to the mentioned victims,Lalisa Manoban was once declared abducted by the Chous' Heiress Chou Tzuyu two days before New Year,and sadly now,she has been found dead already,we are sending our most sincere condolences to the Kim Family for this lost.'

"Where is she? Is she coming?" I shook my head towards Rosé,my girlfriend,yes she's my girlfriend for 4 months already.

"She's so hard to convince,babe. I don't know what to do anymore."

"Give her some time,Chu. Today marks the day we all have lost Lisa,and as much as it hurts us,I know it hurts more for her." Irene tap my shoulder which earned a nod from me.

"She will be fine,babe. Let's go."

I was walking around Milan for quite sometime now,this place is great and quite big. I never knew this vacation could be lovely!

As I walk inside a cutesie bakery,I bump into a tall figure and immediately bowed.

"Oh My God,I'm so sorry." I bowed thrice until I felt dizzy and felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey,Miss. It's fine." I looked up to a tall pretty woman with a smile on her face.

"Are you alright? You look pale. I'm so sorry,I wasn't looking at my way."

This can't be real,she really is pretty.

"Miss? Hey,you alright?" I felt a shake on my shoulder and I was immediately brought back to reality. I nodded my head at her and hastily reach inside my purse for my phone and held her arms.

"C-can we take a-a picture together?" She look at me,confused as to why a stranger is asking a photo with her but I don't mind,I need this.

"O-okay?" We took a picture together and I asked for her name and chat with her a little to get to know her,she said she was living a block away and that this bakery was owned by her friend that she met here 3 months ago.

"I gotta go now,I'm sorry,have some errands. But it was really nice to meet you,have a nice vacation here." She stood up with a camera on her hand and smiled at me as we both bow on each other.

"Thank you,it's nice meeting you too,see you around." I smiled as she left and walk across the busy street of Milan.

Ha,this vacation's getting better and better.

I stared at my phone before pressing one of my contacts and pressed share to send the said picture.

'She's alive,I found her.'

I smiled and pressed send as I read the ID of the number I just messaged.
