C21. Meet The Father

I nodded my head a little as I walk pass bobby,walking inside restaurant. Bobby followed and opened the door for me.

"He's already here." I walked inside the VIP room.

I stopped on my track as I stared at the middle aged man,sitting at the ened of the long table. Arms and legs cross,his demeanor.

I narrowed my eyes at him. His calm features boiling my blood. How can he look so calm and peaceful knwoing he ruined my girlfriend's life?!

My memories flew back to an hour ago,before I left my sleeping lisa. ...

FLASHBACK

I walked to the room's veranda as I picked up my ringing phone. Bobby called to inform he had found the man I am looking for,and that he wanted to meet me.

After a minute,I walked back in. Hearing whimpers from my now crying girlfriend. I frowned.

"Hey,baby." I whispered as I wrapped my arms around her.Comforting her.

She continued to sob and cry on me while I sat there quitely,feeling my heart aching.

....

I took a glance back at lisa's sleeping form. Dried tears are visible on her face. I crouch down and kiss her forehead.

"I'll fix it babe." I whispered before standing up. Fixing my coat,I walked out the room and to the front door.

Bobby came to pick me up,I know,middle of the night. I don't care,I wanna talk to him as soon as possible.

"Have a sit,Kim." His manly voice echoed through out the room as bobby left us alone.

I took a sit across him and he straightened his posture. He reach out for something and threw his ID across the table.

"I am Stephen Jiro Manoban,I was informed that you wanted to talk to me." I scoffed at his words as I tried hard to calm the willingness to kill him in this room right now.

"I am Jennie Kim,your daughter's girlfriend." I shortly introduced myself as he is still my lisa's father.

"My daughter's girlfriend.... Lisa?" He whispered under his breath before the realization could hit him and bulged out his eyes.

"Yes,Stephen. That lovely name is my girl's name. But we won't have to talk about that yet." I stated and took an envelope from my purse and slide it to the table towards him.

He picked it up with his shaking hands and opened it up,scanning the printed notes.

"Lisa is currently suffering trauma after accidentally seeing you somewhere near the university she is in. She couldn't sleep without crying her heart out,she's haunted by nightmares which was caused by you. Because of your appearance,lisa's happy life was turned upside down which bothered me. I want my girlfriend to be happy again,leave the country stephen,never show up her sight once again." I coldly said and crossed my arms.

"W-where is she? Is she with you? C-can I see her?" He quickly stood up and tried walking to me but I raised my hand to stop him.

"Don't bother,I would not bring her here with me. For what should I bring her here in the middle of the night?" I asked. He looked at me again,hesitating to speak out his mind. It took him a minute to open his mouth and state.

"I want to see her... I want to apologize for what I did to her... Please... Let me talk to her." His eyes quickly showed pain and plead. He looks like a father who dreams of holding his daughter back in his strong arms but... no.. I won't satisfy him.

"Your damage has been made,Mr. Manoban. You caused her a lifetime,what made you think I will easily hand her to you?" I scoffed and stood up.

"Leave her alone." I walked towards the door but eventually stop as he said.

"You are powerfull,Kim. You have your words and money to rule the word,I have no fight against that... But please,as a father,I know you love my daughter,which speaks why you are here in the middle of the night to talk to me and stop her suffering,but please,let me talk to her." I smirk and faced him as my eyes went dead. Loser.

" So you knew me,Stephen?"  I asked with a sly smile.

"Y-yeah,I tried to look for lisa for years and last year I found out she is dating the heiress of the kim family." I curtly nodded my head.

My eyes dilated as my head filled with thoughts about his sudden appearance.
