C34. Get the Game Started

The rain hasn't stop outside as the gloomy weather matches the atmospehere of her house. She sat behind the glass of the sliding door to her balcony as she watch the rain pour non-stop. Her eyes glimmers with loneliness,excitement,and possessiveness. She put down the cup of tea as the corner of her lips rose.

"Boss,an email has been sent. The board has been invited to attend the gala as well as the CEO itself,should I decline?" A woman in an office suit came in with eyeglasses and an iPad on her hand. The boss did not bother to look back and just said...

"Accept it. She will be there too." And she continued to sip on her tea elegantly before dismissing her assistant.

"Let's get the game started." She mumbled as her attention shifted into a photo on her phone. She smiled.

"I don't wanna go." Jennie sighed as lisa continued whining as if she never got tired of whining for hours since they started packing. She turned to look at her girlfriend who was glaring at her own shirt inside the luggage,she barely packed half of the clothes jennie told her to pack. This made Jennie frown to herself.

She left her luggage and walk towards her grumpy girlfriend on the bed and sat down across her.

"You have to be there,honey. Unless you want me to go there alone?" Lisa look at her,frowning and pouting,her eyes portraying her distaste of this decision.

"You went there alone the last time." Jennie reach for her hand and sighed.

"That's because you have classes,babe. Don't you want to be my date?" Jennie pouted sadly at lisa with her puppy eyes.

"Of course I want to,but hun,you know those aren't my thing,I don't have suits in my closet aside from that one you bought for the winter ball. Hun,what I mean is,I'm not used to it,and I feel like I don't belong there." Jennie smiled and scooped her partner's face before pecking her lips.

"I can buy you lots of suits,babe. I know you're not used to this,but I want you to be there." She caresses lisa's face who just frowned and look at her straight in the eyes. She just loves looking at those eyes.

"I'll be bored." Lisa loves Jennie and would do anything to make her happy,but she doesn't wanna go there and pretend she was enjoying when she knows it is boring. She just wanted to stay at home and watch movies.

"I'm your queen,right?" Jennie came closer,her voice became softer and it made lisa frown even more as she was thinking what her girl is up to.

"Yes." She simply answered that made jennie smiled widely before saying..

"Then come with me cause I say so,and besides,the Queen needs the King beside her,for without the king,she might be lonely and sad." Jennie said with her sad expression before kissing lisa's lips shortly and straightening the frown on her forehead.

"But I don't wanna." Lisa mumbled quietly as she look down. She wanted to go and watch Jennie get everyone's attention as she walk elegantly wearing a gown,she was sure her girl would look so stunning and would make everybody's jaw drop,but lisa doesn't feel like wearing suits and going to fancy events like that.

Surprisingly,Jennie heard lisa and felt bad. She knows lisa still look down on herself sometimes and she wanted to change that. She knows how simple lisa is and she gets bored with elegant and fancy things,but Jennie won't be leaving in peace if lisa's not beside her.

A year of being lisa's girlfriend,Jennie got to know lisa like a lot lot. She knew lisa too well that she got used to living with lisa's preference in almost everything. She knew everything lisa could want,she knew everything lisa could feel. She also know that even lisa looks tough,hot or cool sometimes,when she's comfortable,she become a baby,a big baby. She literally acts like one,aside from speaking and movements but her attitude is childlike,but Jennie never complain,she knew lisa lost the chance of being a kid since she was unfortunately locked up by her own father and she was willing to let lisa be who she is,so she got used to treating lisa like her baby,her number one baby.

"Do you really don't want to go?" She ask her softly as if talking to her kid,lisa frowned and look away,she felt bad,she knows Jennie would be glad if she comes but she doesn't want to.

Jennie also knew this. Truthfully,Jennie can go alone as she attended it alone the last time like lisa said,but she doesn't want to leave lisa alone in the penthouse,though she can entrust bobby with her,she can't be away from her. She can't sleep without lisa,she can't be peaceful without lisa like she can't function without her.

"Baby,I know you don't want to go,but please? I can't leave you here,although bobby and joy will be here,I still am not contented. I'll be worried sick. You know how I am when it comes to this,hmm?" Lisa look at Jennie with her bottom lips popped out and Jennie straddled her lap as she cupped her face again.

"How will I be sure my baby's doing fine,hmm? Who will drink milk with you at night? Who will watch movies with you until midnight? Who will be there to take care of you? Nini will be away for a couple of days." She explained worriedly as if lisa was her 5 years old daughter and even talked like lisa is literally one.

"I'm not a baby anymore" Lisa denies. For her she really isn't the one to be babied,she feels right,she feels normal,the way she ask jennie to drink milk with her at night,the way she loves wearing onesies to sleep–I mean some people do that,right? But yeah,there are moments when she just want to be hugged,kissed,pampered but it's just her clingy side.

"You know that's a lie,hun. We've been together for a year don't deny those facts."

"I may be clingy but I'm not a baby." Lisa argued while holding Jennie's waist.

"Are you sure hun? Because if that's it,we won't go to the park to buy hotdogs and cotton candies,we won't watch cartoon network,I won't bath you,I won't comb and dry your hair,and I won't sing you to sleep." Lisa's frown worsen as moments passed by and she gave up.

"Fine I am,but hun,I'll be fine,I can go to Irene noona or chaeng." She still negotiated since she lost a minute ago,she doesn't want to admit that she is mostly childlike but also doesn't want jennie to stop babying her cause as cringey as it sounds,she loves it,she loves the feeling of being taken cared of,she enjoys living the life she was supposed to live if she wasn't locked up with stephen.

"Isn't enough reason for me. Come on,babe. You know me better than that. How about you go with me and we'll do whatever you want as a compensation?" Jennie also negotiates and lisa seemed to be thinking twice now.

Just a little push. Jennie thought.

"Let's bring your iPad and I'll let you bring it to the gala too so if you get bored you can play. Also,I won't ask you to look too elegant,and we'll tour around after that." She added and lisa look at her.

"You'll bring my iPad and you'll let me play while you talk to your partners about business?" Lisa ask that made Jennie's eyes shine as she nodded excitedly.

Lisa huffs air and nodded.

"Fine. Only if I can play mobile games there to kill boredom."

"Yes. You'll be able to play there."
