Chapter 19: Welcome, Evelyn Maria-Leigh Malik

*8 Months after the wedding*

Zayn's Pov

I was currently in the kitchen getting Elle a snack since she was outside with everyone. It's now July and Elle is about ready to pop. About 6 months ago, we found out Elle was pregnant and she is now 8 months pregnant. We are waiting to find out the gender after Elle has the baby. I grab the few bowls full of chips and walk out of the house to the back patio. "Took you long enough! Elle was trying to eat my hand." Faith says, laughing along with the others. The whole crew was here and it seemed like we all planned on having babies at the same time. Hunter and Marie already have little 4 year old Jolie but Marie is now pregnant with twin boys. Faith is around 3 months pregnant with a little boy. Erica and Harry had a little girl named Olive about one month ago. Layla is 6 months pregnant with a little girl and Karley just had a baby boy named Ethan about 2 months ago.

Everyone was married and had started families. I sit down next to my beautiful and very pregnant wife and she places her head on my shoulder while stuffing her face with a bunch of chips. "Elle, slow down! We don't want you to choke!" Erica says, passing Olive to her father, Harry, so she could grab some chips before Elle ate them all. After a while we were all just talking, laughing and having a good time.

Suddenly, Elle shot up and grabbed onto her belly. "Baby what's wrong?!" I sit up to and place my right hand on her back and my left hand on the hand that is holding her belly. "I-I think I'm h-having contra-OW!" Her sentence was cut very short and her hands gripped the sides of her chair. "Oh fuck!" Elle looked at me with wide eyes. "Either I just pissed myself or my water broke." Elle says, causing everyone to get up and head to their cars. "I'M GOING INTO LABOR!" Elle shouts and I run into the house to grab her hospital bag. I run down the stairs to see Faith holding Elle's arm and walking with her to the front door. Everyone got into their cars and drove off to the hospital.

We had it planned that everyone would go to the hospital whenever one of the girls went into labor that way we were all there to support them. Once Elle was into the car, Faith ran over to her car and her and Niall drove off with everyone else. I hopped into the car and threw her bag into the back seat. I turned on the car and drove off to the hospital.

Once I parked, got out the hospital bag and helped Elle out of the car, we went into the hospital. "I need help! My wife is going into labor!" I shout and a few nurses rush over and get Elle to sit down in a wheelchair. They wheel her off and a female doctor comes over to me. "You're the husband?" She asks, making me nod in reply. "Come this way." She leads me to where they took off with Elle. When I reached the room, Elle was already in a hospital gown and laying on the bed. I rush over to her and grab her hand.

"Damn it Malik! Why did you do this to me?!" She screams when another contraction hits her. I just hold her hand and help her breath like the doctors and nurses get her to do.

Faith's Pov

After waiting for what felt like hours, Zayn finally comes out with a huge smile on his face. We all stand up and wait for him to say something. "It's a girl!" He says and we all begin cheering! I'm an aunt to another girl! I'm so happy. "Are you all here to see Noelle Malik?" A doctor comes out behind Zayn, looking at all of us. "We are her friends and family." I reply to the doctor. "As Mr. Malik had said, it is a girl and Noelle would like to see you all in her room." The doctor pointed us to her room and I was the first one to open the door, everyone else behind me. Once I opened the door, I see my sister holding a little girl in her arms. We all walk over and gather around her bed. Elle looks up at all of us and smiles. "I did it! I'm a mother!" Elle begins crying tears of happiness and we all smile and cheer for her.

Noelle's Pov

After the painful labor, I finally got to meet my baby girl. "What did you name her?" Layla asks. "Evelyn Maria-Leigh Malik. Eve for short and Maria-Leigh after my mother." I reply, looking back down at Eve. I finally have my baby girl in my arms. Welcome to the world Evelyn Maria-Leigh Malik.
