Part 11

[D-day]

Renjun was staring outside with a blank expression while he waited for the face mask his cousin forced him to wear to be taken off.

It has been like that since the morning when he got rudely woken up by Jisung who was looking for a place to hide from their eldest in his room.

The youngest was playing games on the console with a baby chick sheet mask on his face as he too has been ordered to look presentable.

"When does the party start anyways for you to make us do this since the morning?" The shorter motioned towards his face as the eldest walked inside.

"In the late afternoon which is barely enough time to go through the whole beauty routine I have planned for the two of us."

"Hey, does that mean that Renjun-hyung's hair will change again for the night?"

The shorter omega nodded remembering the first time he presented and half of his hair became a silvery white shade.

He later found out that it was his wolf's colour and at every full moon when the two sides are more in sync his whole hair becomes white.

It was rather shocking for the others too the first time it happened but it always went back to normal by the next day, well, Renjun's new two toned normal that is.

While their household was having a few hours of spa and relaxing the Lee family home was in total chaos.

Donghyuck and Jeno were still in pajamas playing an online game with their other friends behind locked doors to avoid being disturbed.

Mark was in the kitchen with Johnny munching on fruits while they watched their aunt and uncle dash around collecting the last things they needed before leaving early.

Taeyong was already at the venue checking if everything was still up and waited for the men bringing the cutlery and other necessity for dinner until his parents would take over.

The clothes for the five males have also been delivered that morning and the guys haven't even had a look at the possible monstrosities hiding in the bags.

"Pink?!" Hyuck's voice echoed trough the house as he nearly fell off his bed seeing the leather jacket his cousin pulled out first before the rest of his outfit.

Jeno laughed just as much at the apparently colour matching with their wolves while the older didn't seem to dislike it that much.

"Yo~ This doesn't look half bad though with the blueish gray shades, guys." He put it on and stood in front of the full body mirror to check himself out.

"Now I'm afraid of what my outfit looks like..." Jeno shuddered as he watched pastel purple shoes emerge from his older cousin's bag as well.

"Rock-paper-scissors to decide who'll check his clothes next?"

"Ha-ha my clothes look the most normal even with these ugh shoes." Donghyuck teased after loosing the game he suggested and was up next for modeling his outfit.

"Jeno's might be better."

It was just then that the said male pulled out his cowboy jacket and earned a similar reaction as Mark did with his one.

The deep v neckline on his shirt didn't help the poor guy either but he was not one to complain about such trivial things as he hadn't planned on finding a mate that night.

"At least nobody will be interested in me if I dress like this and I can avoid being swarmed by those annoying omegas of the other tribes."

"You think having your muscles out on display will scare them away? Are you really that dumb or are you just trying to ignore it?"

"I'm counting on Renjun to scare them away with a few mean glares and well timed negative comments on their looks."

The other two alphas nodded in understanding of the plan as they could very well imagine the omega shooing off any unwanted guests that came their way.

"Then we better hope Renjunie will feel generous enough to help us and doesn't decide that watching us struggle instead is more entertaining."

At this all three quieted down and started praying for the evening to pass quickly and without any problems.

Finding a quiet spot and just chilling to the side of the large hall was certainly not possible if there was someone like Chenle around whose voice was as loud as if he was constantly talking trough a megaphone.

Renjun's first instinct was to step behind their uselessly tall youngest when he sensed that eyes would turn their way but didn't succeed in warding off all evil as soon a similarly loud voice called his name.

"Renjwinieeee! Jwisungieee!"

The handsome alpha dressed in a black suit with a flower pattern was already approaching with stretched arms ready to pinch the youngest's cheeks and none of them could escape him now.

"Jaemin-hyung~ I'm not a pup!"

"Shush, you'll always be my cute little pup!" The older alpha said before smiling mischievously at the omega trying to go unnoticed behind him and pulled him closer by hooking their elbows together.

"Jaemin-ah~ can we just stay here and not go socialize?"

"No can do my cute little Jjun, grandma Lee has asked us all to go greet the guests once we arrive so come on you three!"

"But I'm not trying to find my mate among the omegas!" Renjun retorted but it was no use as the smiling alpha literally dragged him along with ease to wherever the others were.

"There are some betas too so don't be this pessimistic and relax before the whole room smells of rotten jasmine."

The shorter mumbled a quiet sorry and glanced back to see the two younger wolves right behind them giving him a thumbs up, asking his wolf to help him get trough the upcoming invasion of foreign scents.
