Destiny - RenHyuck FF

Part 1

After their thirteen hour flights the three cousins meet up at the airport exhausted and annoyed from the crowd by the exit.

Johnny, Mark and Donghyuck have returned to Seoul after years of living in America as their grandmother had ascended as their new pack elder and wanted them nearby.

The three alphas made their way out of the stuffy building and found a familiar face waiting for them nearby with a huge smile.

"Taeil-hyung!"

"Welcome back home guys, everyone else has already arrived." The short omega said as he hugged each of his friends before ushering them into his car and driving off to their pack neighborhood.

On the backseat the youngest connected his headphones with his phone and played some relaxing tunes before closing his eyes and trying to get some sleep on their two and a half hour long drive.

The Dream house was something like the community building where the younger wolves of the Neo pack gathered and hung out ever since it was built.

It's a place that's always housing at least one person with it's many rooms available for sleepovers or nights away from home, a safe place for the pack's youth.

With such an important event like the ascent of a new pack elder even the younger unmated from families that moved abroad due to work were called back making the house buzz with life.

Music was blasting in the backyard while some older guys grilled meat for the ever hungry kids, a group was splashing eachother in the pool, some played table tennis, foot volleyball or basketball while others just relaxed in a less crowded corner.

The cool summer breeze made it enjoyable to be outside even in the scorching sun and the majority of the young wolves chose to be outside instead of staying in the house.

The delicious smell of food easily overshadowed the few scents of the wolves who decided against wearing scent blockers so it wasn't too overwhelming for the few omegas who were present.

One of them, a more sensitive young omega sat further away from the epicenter of the noise under a small shade, surrounded by fluffy blankets while reading a book quietly.

He was already used to the chaos surrounding him and learned to ignore it when he didn't feel like taking part in the games or wanted some alone time.

The twenty-one years old was not the youngest of the bunch but he was the last omega to present and had a hard time adapting to the new changes in his body.

Renjun was too focused on his novel to pay attention to his glasses slowly sliding down his nose not to mention the commotion happening around the back entrance of the estate, not interested in socializing the least.

The car pulled up and Taeil exited first before the three alphas he brought also stepped out to be met with hugs from their friends.

"Markkkk!" A handsome beta lifted the younger up in excitement while trying to leave kisses behind on the aforementioned boy's face without success.

"You finally arrived too! How many years has it been since you last visited Seoul, three-four?" Another of their cousins, Taeyong asked amused at the intimidating appearance of the youngest of the trio.

"If there's nothing planned for today I'd prefer crashing in one of the rooms and sleeping away my jetlag."

"Sure Hyuck, go ahead and look for an empty room, I'm sure there should be one available since only Jaemin and Jisung are inside the house as far as I know."

The tan alpha nodded and went towards the entrance waving halfheartedly at everyone who greeted him when he remembered something and stopped to look around.

If everyone was there then that meant that his arch nemesis was also lurking somewhere around, probably doing nerdy things like always.

Feeling exhaustion take over him Donghyuck dismissed the thought of annoying his favorite beta and made his way into the house, walking past the rooms and climbing the spiral staircase to the first floor.

He snorted when he came across a huge caterpillar and Jaemin passed out on the sofas and walked over to the bed he usually slept in whenever he stayed up too late playing games here as a kid, kicking off his chelsea boots and slipping under the covers before passing out.

I finally got myself to finish another NCT fanfic which this time would be a RenHyuck short story. It was originally meant to be a oneshot but got too long to be comfortably read as one chapter.
