Part 14

The party was long forgotten after the two decided to get some fresh air and clear their minds once their wolves recognized eachother and the shock of what just happened settled in making both blush furiously.

They were now seated at a bench further away from the venue to avoid seeing one of their friends who might come outside for a walk as a break from the chaos inside.

"So..." "So..."

Both spoke at the same time and glanced at the other just to shy away at the realization that that there was their destined partner for life, their other half, their mate.

"I like your hair." was probably the dumbest thing Donghyuck could say but his brain had stopped working and the rebooting took longer than he'd like, so dumb thing it was.

Renjun reached up and took one of the longer strands between his fingers a little self conscious about how the light colour made his complexion seem darker but his wolf preened at the thought of their alpha complimenting their fur's colour.

"It just crossed my mind but is your usual hair colour naturally that way too from your omega's influence?"

The omega stared at him before nodding slowly and receiving an ahh~ nice before another uncomfortable silence fell over them.

"Why are you acting like a teenage girl that just found out she was crushing on someone and now can't even look at them?" Wol asked with a snicker while observing his human side being a total mess.

"He's right, stop being a wuss because my human is also an idiot and the only things he can think about are how pretty you are and how the fuck you two became mates." The deep voice from before once again invaded his head which made Renjun pissed off and glare at the clueless alpha beside him.

"Get your stupid alpha under control because I swear I'm going to break your leg you if he dares to insult me again!"

Donghyuck jumped in surprise at the loud voice of the smaller before his alpha spoke up praising their omega for listening to him or, well, reacting to his provocation just as he expected.

"Wait, you can communicate with him?"

"You can communicate with me too." A soft voice said and he noticed his own wolf wag its tail happily at the intruder into their already too cramped space called his mind.

"I guess you heard Wol too..." Renjun said as he saw the taller male's mouth open and close like a fish and smiled lightly finding him adorable.

"Wol? Is that our omega's name?"

"Mhmm~" The shorter blushed slightly and looked away when he saw the eyes of the alpha stare at him in awe.

"I think Sunny just malfunctioned after finding out our omega's name."

Donghyuck chuckled to himself at the image of his alpha suddenly rolling on the ground whining before noticing how the shorter was still avoiding looking at him.

"Did you become this shy because of the full moon or the fact that someone you hate just turned out to be your other half?"

"What? I never hated you Hyuck! Yes, you annoyed me and I wished several times for you to just stumble and fall face first into dog poop or choke on a noodle but I never hated you."

"You didn't? Even though I used every chance to make you angry so you'd pay attention to me?" Donghyuck said and immediately blushed at the fact that he just spilled something nobody knew so far.

"No way! Lee Donghyuck, did you actually like me?!"

The omega now faced him fully and stared in disbelief while the alpha hid his face behind his hands and whined, only making Renjun break out in a fit of laughter.
