Chirps of bird echoed around our settings, the splash of ocean's water were almost reaching my dirty feets, the sun has already settled, and the only light that we could witness was the glimmering moon as it watched our knackered figure that was laying, almost lifelessly on the sand's surfaces.

Build and I decided to go to the beach today, since we weren't able to visit the ocean's this past few years. He and I gladly talked about this matter and fortunately, we had a similar mindset about this topic.

He sat beside my exhausted presence. To my surprise, he didn't play inside the ocean as he faces me with his decent appearance. That's unfair!

" Aren't you tired yet, Ble?"

I'm tired. Extremely tired. But Build's joyful visage were keeping me going. It wasn't his fault, at least. It's me who'd wanted to stay.

" Let's sit for a moment" I replied, which he returned by obeying my words.

" So Biu, do you have any plans once your so-called vacations end this week?" I teased.

" Vacations? It's just one week, what do you mean?" He was sulking like a child though in my response, I was as well as liking to tease this boy.

" Yeah, one week's vacation with me" I decided to continue my façade since his reactions were truly hilarious whenever he furrowed his eyebrows playfully.

" Hey, I didn't mean to bother with you though, I just-"

" It's fine Biu, I know, I actually didn't mean my words "

After that awkward conversation, none of us attempted to speak. Build was interlocking his fingers together, his hands were always brushing through the back of his nape, one of his index fingers was always pointing out through his nose, he's biting his lips continuously and I knew that I'd already reached my summit once I observed his nervous movements.

" Just say it Biu, I know you're hiding something"

" You knew?"

" Your hand movements were typically obvious, it's fine just say it " Assuring him with my comforting words, his furrowed eyebrows earlier turned back from their normal position. I could sense that he's thinking deeply inside his head and as his friend, I should be at least aware of his surroundings.

" I hope you wouldn't mind then if I ask something?"

" And that is?"

" If your most treasured person died in front of you, would you cry or just accept the fact that it's their time from heaven?" He closed his eyes shut, pretending to avoid my eye contact.

That's absolutely absurd. I didn't imagine him to asks such a question.

" Who wouldn't cry when the most important person in your life dies? Obviously, every person does cry. I myself would cry "

" Thanks, I feel great now " Those endearing smiles again. It's the smile that always meddles in my thoughts every single day. it's absolutely precious that I've always wished he would've just flash those smiles in front of me. I hope I was an exception for him.

" Why would you always bring that question Biu? You always talks about death "
