Summary: Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst start arguing which causes Peridot to become upset and scared. They slip into littlespace as a result and Garnet takes care of them!
Peridot uses they/them pronouns! I also headcannon them as being autistic!
Also, their little age is 2 for this!

"Amethyst, I've told you many times, don't leave messes throughout the temple!" Pearl said in annoyance. "Aw, c'mon P! Don't be so uptight!" Amethyst replied gruffly. "I am not uptight!" Pearl said a bit loud.
Amethyst tended to not clean up after herself and often left food wrappers, clothes, and other things scattered throughout the temple. It really irked Pearl, who liked things clean and tidy.
"Pearl, Amethyst, relax." Garnet added smootly, sensing both of the annoyed gems's tempers starting to flare. Peridot, who was in the temple hanging out, heard the yelling and started feeling nervous.
The small gem was autistic, and tension made them very uncomfortable and frightened. It scared them, especially when gems were mad at each other.
"Yeah, Pearl! Chill!" Amethyst crossed her arms. "Don't you tell me to chill!" Pearl yelled. "Both of you, stop!" Garnet said a bit too harshly. Peridot whimpered, beginning to cover their ears.
The upset gem started rocking back and forth as they whimpered. "Pwease stop...!" They begged. Peridot was sensitive to loud noises, especially yelling. It made them feel unsafe and hurt their ears.
It also caused them to involuntarily regress.
"Pwease stop....pwease stop...yelling too woud and scawy...!" Peridot begged as Amethyst and Pearl looked at them, hearing the fear in their voice. Garnet frowned, instantly feeling bad for Peridot.
"Oh, look what you did, Amethyst! You're scared them!" Pearl sighed. "Me? You're the one who's being a drama queen!" Anything replied loudly. Peridot then started to cry, their rocking intensifying.
Garnet gently picked up the little one and rocked them gently to her chest. "It's alright, little one...." They all knew Peridot was a little. Garnet was especially good with them. Pearl and Amethyst looked down, feeling bad for upsetting Peridot.
"Sorry, Dot...we'll try not to fight anymore, okay?" Amethyst gently said. "We're sorry, Peridot, we forgot that you don't like loud noises..." Pearl softly added. Peridot clung to Garnet. "Ish otay..." They muttered.
Peridot wanted to be alone with Garnet so the other two left. "How old are you?" Garnet asked. Peridot held up to fingers. Garnet awed, cuddling them close. Peridot wss clingy to her when feeling small.
Garnet carried the regressed gem to her room, where she kept a box of Peridot's little gear for them.A few minutes, Peridot was dressed in a cuddly and comfy space-themed onesie. They had a pacifier that had the agender flag colors as well.
Garnet cuddled them on her lap, handing them an alien plushie that Peridot was rather fond of in littlespace. "Tank chu Gawnet..." They whispered. Garnet awed. "No problem, little one..." She rocked them.
Peridot wrapped their arms and legs around Garnet, resembling a baby sloth. "Aww, you are a clingy tot, aren't you?" Peridot nodded shyly. "Sowwy..." They muttered, feeling embarrassed.
Garnet nuzzled them gently. "No need to apologize, I don't mind in the slightest." She smiled. Peridot laid her head on the tall gems's shoulder, feeling a little better then earlier.
"Would you like to play, Dot?" Garnet asked gently. "Yesh!" They replied, grabbing their stim toys and fluttering their fingers, a common stim they did. They also made soft squealing noises. Peridot also liked space toys and plushies.
While they played, Garnet played with them. She had to admit: Peridot was adorable! They were affectionate, clingy, playful, shy, and sweet when regressed. The two played together for a bit.
Later, Peridot wanted to watch cartoons which was Crying Breakfast Friends. They enjoyed it a lot when small. Garnet sat on the sofa with Peridot in her lap as the toddler happily watched the show.
Garnet didn't really understand it, but as long as Peridot was happy, she didn't mind. After a few episodes, Peridot shyly gave her grabby hands. Garnet picked them up in response, knowing they loved to be held.
"You are adorable." Garnet smiled, carrying them around the temple. The soothing motion made them feel so safe and relaxed. "Chu nice..." They mumbled through their pacifier. Garnet awed, gently caressing their head.
Peridot started to happily stim by making adorable little noises. Garnet awed, cooing at them softly. Peridot's stims were so cute! Especially when they slipped. They stimmed a lot in littlespace.
A few minutes, Peridot was climbing Garnet, as if she were a tree. "What are you doing, little Dot?" Peridot giggled. "Climbing!" Garnet chuckled a bit. "I see that, why?" She didn't mind, she was just curious.
They shrugged, continuing playing. Garnet let them, smiling. Later, the pair were cuddling up on the sofa together. Peridot was curled up like a kitten in Garnet's lap. Garnet was cuddling them close.
"Gawnet?" They spoke up. "Yes, little one?" Garnet looked down at them. "Tank chu...." They replied. "For what?" She smiled. "For wooking after me and making me fweel safe..." Peridot smiled back.
"You don't have to thank me, but you're welcome, Dot."
