'All of us have made mistakes in our lives. Be it from the past or presence. But how far do we know that our mistakes will leave us alone?

"You will die today!"
"DASH!!!!"
Dash's eyes opened up suddenly like a beam of flashlight. Cold sweat running through his body. His heart is pounding. Looking around the room while still lying stiff on the bed, hopefully finding something that can assure him he's not in dreamland.
"Not up yet?" That familiar voice ringing in his ears.
"Yeah, I'm up." "What time is it?" Without any hesitation, he answered back to the voice.
"It's already time to get up from your sleepy ass and go to work."
Diana will always wake him up whenever his mom asks her to. The only sister that he can rely on. At times she will just ignore him when she feels super annoyed by his lame jokes. But she can't say no to her only brother whenever he needs her advice. The big sister that anyone will want.
"Get ready quick and have your breakfast before Mom comes in here and smacks your sleepy head."
Though his eyes are open, his mind is still empty. Getting out of bed feels so dreadful. The same dream keep haunting him every night. Dash still can't figure out the meaning of it.
He made a quick wash up and got himself ready for work. The smell of coffee woke up his senses. He quickly went out of his room and grabbed a cup of coffee. Before he knew it, the coffee had gone into his stomach.
"Bye Mom. Don't wait for me tonight. I'll be working late." Before his mom could say anything, Dash was already on his bike and riding off.
It's already past eight in the morning, but the road is not as busy as usual. And then Dash remembered that it's Saturday. He quickly rode his bike to avoid being late. While he was speeding up, he caught sight of a girl across the street. She looks familiar, but he can't recall where he saw her. He wanted to stop, but he needed to be at work before it was too late.

Noooooooo!!!!!"
Ivy was jolted awake by the sudden sound of the alarm clock. Her breathing is so intense. The image of blood all over her is still in her mind. Suddenly, fear crept up her spine. She looked around. Chubby is still sleeping on its little bed. She felt relieved. Chubby is all she had after her parents died in the car accident a few months ago. Chubby was a gift from her Aunt Jane. A fluffy little cat that has taken away her loneliness ever since.
"Good morning, Chubby. It's time for breakfast. Come on!" Ivy called out to her only companion. The moment he heard Ivy's voice, his eyes opened, and he instantly got up and followed her behind obediently.
Ivy looked at herself in the mirror while touching her scar on her left cheek. Tears pooled in her eyes. The trauma of losing her parents is still there.
She clenched her fists with anger.
I will find the killer.

Walking down the road aimlessly, she heard the roaring sound of a motorcycle revving. It caught her attention, making her turn. She looked at the passing motorcycle. Her eyes carried a mixture of shock and barely contained anger. She hated the sight of motorcycles.
Suddenly, she found herself in the depths of misery. She felt helpless. All she wanted was for her parents to be alive.
"Ring!Ring!"
"Hey lady! Move!" a man shouted right behind her. Ivy was stunned for a second. A bicycle would have nearly hit her if she hadn't moved in time.
"Sorry!" was the only word that came out of her. She continued walking to the bus stop. She needed to get on the bus soon, as she didn't want to be late for her first day of work. She's been looking for a job for the past months and finally landed one, even though she's still in a healing state. She needs to keep herself occupied to move on with her life.

Dash stood at the entrance of the restaurant. Working as a delivery guy is not an easy job. Not only is he facing horrible traffic congestion, but even some of the customers can make his day crazy.
"Hey Dash! Grab the orders and send them right away. Don't just stand there. Get your ass right here now," Derrick demanded. Derrick can be a pain in the ass for Dash, but he's still the best boss around. He's like a Dad to him ever since his biological Dad left his family since he was a kid.
He smiled at Derrick and said, "Be right up. Don't worry, the orders will be delivered in no time. I was called Dash for a reason." Everyone knew how fast he could ride and deliver. At times, they are worried about his daredevil attitude. His young blood always makes him do crazy things.
"Mmmmm.. Good morning," suddenly a voice interrupted. Dash and Derrick turned toward the voice. Ivy was standing behind Dash all this time and even heard their conversation. Dash looked at her with interest. He tried to search back into his memory.
Oh yes. She's the girl I saw earlier.
"I'm sorry to interrupt. It's my first day of work. Can I know which one of you is Mr. Derrick?" Ivy asked.
"Hi. I'm Dash. And he's Derrick. I mean Mr. Derrick. Anyway, nice to meet you and you are?" Dash asked, trying to get her attention. He just can't take his eyes off of her.
"Dash! Orders now!" shouted Derrick.
Dash shrugged and slowly walked off.
"Ivy.." she replied.
Dash turned. Their eyes locked. Dash winked and smiled before making his way to start his deliveries.
And that's how they met with an open heart without knowing what was coming for them.
