Cass' POV:
"Mom, I'm going out tonight, with Hunter. There's nothing you can do or say to stop me." I said with a sassy tone, like a normal seventeen year old girl would. "I said no, Cass." My mother replied sternly. "I said yes!" I replied, before grabbing my keys and running out the door. I heard my mom yelling my name briefly before I slammed the drivers side door of my car shut. I sighed heavily and slid the keys in the ignition, looking at the pictures of me and my boyfriend Hunter that sat neatly on the dash. My Mom never approved of Hunter. He's older than I am and I wouldn't describe him as an innocent person either, but that's exactly what I needed. I needed to feel exhilaration and adrenaline. Being with Hunter made me feel all those things. My Dad left suddenly when I was about fifteen, and since then, I've felt the need to rebel. To lash out and be crazy for once. Years ago, I was known as the wallflower. The one who was shy and never got in to trouble. The naive girl who was scared of anything out of the normal comfort zone. That was until I met Hunter anyway. He showed me how to become the girl I am now. He brought me out of my comfort zone, and enlightened me on what it felt like to be a carefree teen. Hunter is nineteen, and in college. I met him through a mutual friend. Ever since the first hello, I knew he was the one I wanted forever with, even though he isn't always setting the best example.

About twenty minutes later, I pulled up to the night club, where I saw Hunter leaned up against his red sports car in the parking lot. I smirked and got out of my car. "Hey you." I said. He looked, "Hi there, gorgeous." Without a thought, he pulled me close to him and kissed me. "I'm sorry I'm late baby. My mom was being ridiculous." I whispered after kissing him back. "It's ok, you're here now." He smirked. I bit my lip and looked in his eyes. "Ready to get this night started?" I asked. He just nodded, a sparkle of overwhelming desire for disaster in his eyes. I grabbed his hand and pulled him inside. He was quick to follow, pulling our fake I.D.'s out of his pocket. According to the card, I was twenty-two. So why not enjoy a drink or two? I pulled of my jacket and sat on the stool at the bar. Hunter sat down on the seat beside me. I showed the bartender my "ID". He approved without a question before making my drink. Hunter ordered one as well, a little stronger than mine. "Enjoy!" The bartender spoke before sliding us the alcohol. "Thank you." Hunter said, taking the glass in his hand. I took a sip of my own drink, letting the taste invade my mouth. I smirked and watched him begin drinking his own. "So, after a few more of these, why don't we take my car and get out of here?" Hunter said seductively. "That sounds perfect." I replied.

I shrieked in excitement as Hunter sped down the freeway, past city limits. He just laughed, speeding up all the more. "WOOOOO!!!!" I screamed, as the city lights shined in my eyes. I threw my arms in the air and let the wind move my hair freely. I looked out the window to see a bridge. "Babe!!! Lets go on that bridge." I said, my eyes lighting up with excitement. He smirked and pulled up to it. We quickly got out of the car and ran to the edge of the bridge. Before I could catch my breath, Hunter dipped me back over the railing and kissed me passionately. I couldn't help but smile against his lips, causing his lingering kiss to end. "I love you." I told him, "No matter what my Mom thinks." He tangled his fingers in the waves of my black hair. "Well I love you too Baby. No one could ever stop us from being together. Not time. Distance. The law. Not even your Mom." "Promise?" I asked quietly. "I promise you." He replied. I kissed him gently before letting myself be in the warmth of his arms.

It was one in the morning now, and a Hunter and I were still partying the night, and even early morning hours away. I held his hand tight as he sped his sports car up again, singing loudly to the song playing on the radio. I sang along carelessly through laughs and smiles. It was then that we heard sirens. I looked in the rearview mirror to see a cop car speeding up behind us. "Oh no." Hunter almost yelled, before beginning to rev the engine and go even faster. The last thing I remember were the blue lights shining off of the back window, the squealing of tires, and breaking glass of a windshield ...
