Inspiration for this imagine was taken from Carrie Underwood and her absolutely beautiful song, "Forever Changed" ... The song gets me emotional every time! -- Enjoy!

Kaylee's POV:

Summertime was always my favorite time of the year. I loved being in the middle of a wide open field, chasing the butterflies and admiring the small things around me.

I would often lay in the soft green grass, stare up at the white clouds, and day dream about all of my desires for the future.

Would I find love one day? The thing that all souls longed to have. The kind of mad love that you only read about in romance novels. The kind that you'd never want to lose.

Maybe my thoughts were naive. What man could honestly have all of the qualities I hoped to find?

Nights later, I drove out by the lake with a jar to catch the fireflies that flew around, enlightening the clear sky.

When I arrived and threw my car into park, I noticed an unfamiliar person sitting the water.

I closed my car door carefully to eliminate any noise that might startle him.

I walked closer, eyeing the dirty blonde who looked completely lost in his own thoughts.

I tapped his shoulder gently and that's when he looked at me for the very first time.

His eyes were breathtaking, such a beautiful shade of blue, the stars in the sky only made them sparkle even more.

"Hello." I said with a small smile.

"Hi there." He smiled back at me.

"I won't bother you, I was just coming to the enjoy the lake." I spoke softly, walking to the waters edge.

"A girl as beautiful as you could never be a bother to me." My heart fluttered just the slightest as I looked back at him.

"Thank you." I blushed.

"I'm Hunter." He stood up and walked closer, closing the distance between us a bit.

"I'm Kaylee." I smiled up at him.

"It's nice to meet you, Kaylee." Hunter winked.

"It's nice to meet you too." I giggled.

Who knew that the quick exchange of words between two people meeting for the very first time would be the ones that changed my life forever.

September -- 2016

Months have passed and summer has turned to fall.

I never thought such strong feelings can develop in such a short amount of time.

Hunter and I have dated now for about two months and slowly but surely, I am falling head over heels in love with him.

I may be young but I knew what real love felt like. Hunter has taught me what it's really like to be madly in love with someone. It isn't meant to be perfect or planned. But when two imperfect souls come together, it can make one extraordinary relationship.

"You want to go for a swim?" Hunter asked me with a smirk.

"I can never say no to you." I said, kissing him sweetly.

He kissed me softly, "I know." He laughed lightly and rubbed my cheek.

I ran towards the side of the river with the waterfall and pulled off my sundress, left only in my bikini. I looked back at Hunter before jumping into the cold water.
