Kaylee's POV:

"Do you have to go into the studio tonight? It's late. And snowy." I giggled as I sat on my boyfriend Hunter's bed.

"The band and I have to lay down some tracks tonight if we ever want to get this next album out." He said.

"I just don't think it's safe to be driving out there right now." I looked at him as stood in the doorway of his closet.

December was in full swing and so was the snow that covered the ground like blankets.

"I'll be okay, baby." He smiled softly.

"What will it take to get you to stay?"

I turned on the TV to the news station.

The snow is falling heavily outside. The roads are icy. It is strongly suggested that everyone stay off the roads for the time being! Voiced the weather man through the television.

"See!" I giggled, "you should stay."

He sighed but smiled softly, walking towards me and sitting beside me at the edge of the bed.

"You really want me to stay?" He laughed softly.

I nodded, scooting closer to him, "I'd feel a whole lot better if you did."

Truthfully, the weather was only half of my reason for wanting Hunter to stay. Between my schedule with college and his crazy one with touring, we don't get to spend a lot of quality time together. I missed it. I needed him here.

"Well, if I'm staying here, then so are you. I'm not letting you drive to your place in this kind of weather." He winked.

I crawled in his lap. "I guess I could stay with you." I teased.

"Oh really?" He smirked.

I nodded. "It might take a bit of convincing though."

He bit his lip and pulled me into a hard and slow kiss. I kissed him back the same way as I threw my arms around his neck. He smiled against my lips after we pulled away slightly, catching our breath.

"Stay the night?" He whispered.

"Of course." I smiled softly.

"Will you keep me warm all night since it's so frigid outside?" He joked.

I laughed. "Sure baby."

"So ... Since we're basically house bound for the rest of the night, what do you want to do " He looked up at me.

I smiled and rubbed his cheek. "I have the perfect idea."

"Oh yeah? What's that?" He smiled.

"You'll have to follow me and see."

"This is so heavy!" He whined playfully as he carried his small, artificial tree upstairs from the basement.

I laughed, "Babe, the thing is plastic and weighs about three pounds."

"So? It's still heavy!" He laughed.

"Well. It's December sixth and you have yet to decorate this cute little tree. This is the perfect excuse to do it!"

"Where should we put it?" He asked, carrying it into the living room.

I looked around, thinking about it for a moment before pointing to the small table placed the window across the room.

"Right there?" I smiled.
