A dark room hardly lit but by the glowing screen of a single laptop. The table on which it was situated was ladened with plastic noodle cups, bottles and cans, but the man sitting to it didn't even bother about the whole mess as he popped open another can and tipped its content into his throat. " Who could have guessed." He smirked broadly as he smacked his lips.
Before him, on the screen of his laptop, a black egg was throbbing like a heart with codes scrolling up by either side of it. " This is high time I was appreciated for my abilities. The whole world will kneel before me when I'm done with it. And the World Savers will rise up again to rule it."
" Foolish..."
The man's eyes widened slightly as he heard that. He looked around, but there was no one other than him in that messy dark room. He looked back at his laptop before laughing at himself. " There is no way, must be my imagination."
And he embarked again on working, oblivious to the fact that his codes were enduring major changes after he was finished with them.
Unbeknown to him, from behind the crust of the black egg he was working on, a pair of red eyes were staring into him. Truly foolish...
