I wake up on the couch in Audrey's dorm. What is it with me falling asleep on peoples couches? I turn around to find Audrey, and I see it's 12:08.

Shoot

I promised Eda I'd be over by 11:00.
I grab my phone, which is at 5% and run out the door.

"Bye Dri! Gotta go!"

I don't even know why I yelled. I know she's not here. I checked every where but the bathroom. Maybe she was there? Should I go back?

Meh

I go to my dorm and quickly grab a change of clothes while willow is just staring at me. Questioning life prolly. We're always doing that. I giggle out loud while I grab my keys.

"Bye wills"

"Luz? Where have you been? Where are you go-"

I slam the door before she finishes. I'll text her once I get home.

I quickly run to the stairs and speed down them as fast as I can. Then I bump into someone.

"Why the rush, Noceda?"

"Ams?"

I turn around and there she is. She's wearing a black shirt tucked into a red plaid skirt and has a bright red blazer on top.

"Wow, you look beautiful" I whisper

"Going soft on me Luz?"

I see the girls face swell up with red. I've never seen a girl that can blush that hard.

"In your dreams blight." I reply

"I have to go, my mom is forcing me to come to one of her conventions"

"I have to go too, I'm going over my moms house."

"Bye Noceda"

"Bye Blight"

After standing in the same place for one minute, I continue to run towards my car.  I unlock it, open the door and hop in. I'm not really worried now, because Eda's house is 10 minutes away from here. I back out the parking lot and start driving.

I turn up the radio and relax. I tap my fingers on the steering wheel to the beat of the music. The combination of music and driving is way more therapeutic than any therapist I've had. I have never told anyone except willow and Gus about all the therapists Eda and my Mom, Camila, has made me go to.

Enclosed in my thoughts I almost missed my turn. I park on the side of the night market entrance and take a pathway towards Eda's house.

After around 2 minutes of walking, I see the shining of the colored windows infront of me. Raine is standing at the door like they always do.

Ever since my mom let me stay in the Boiling isles. I've been enjoying life way more, I think it was for the best. Instead of failing physics in the human realm, I'm passing potions 101 with flying colors. If you count a B "flying colors". I didn't care to correct amity when she said I had all c's, because I now have all b's and one a.

I thought all of this while walking to the door. I hug raine and greet them.
