Luz's smile immediately goes away, and of course, amity notices.
Amity chuckles,
"You okay Noceda? Never seen you down."
"Mhm. Gotta check on Audrey"
"Audrey... Tempest?"
"Yeah"
"It's like your friends with everyone who hates me"
Amity mumbles
Luz notices and looks out the side window. They're now in the parking lot, getting their stuff together. Amity hops out the car to grab her bike and notices Luz is really off. She wants to hug her but she doesn't, she doesn't know if she likes being touched or not. She thinks Luz is not the touchy type.
*if only she knew lol*
Luz was silent all the way from the parking lot to the dormitory. Constantly looking at her texts, scrolling up, then down, then back up again. The only thing she said after getting that message was..
"I guess this is where we part ways, see ya blight!"
It was almost creepy how she went from frown to smile so quick. I felt bad. She is so good at hiding her emotions that if she wasn't always checking her phone, I wouldn't have noticed. She must have had friends who didn't know her enough to see it. Or just didn't care. I won't let her have to have those kind of friends ever again. But I don't know. I'm not that good at friends myself...
Maybe we can be not good at friends... together?
