"As fresh as newly bloomed crysanths. Diba iyon ang lagi mong sinasabi sa akin? Am I still that fresh now Morgan?" Sambit ni Lucia na ngayon ay karga-karga ang natutulog na bata.  Walang bahid ng takot sa kanyang mukha. Alam niya ang epekto niya kay Morgan.

Huminga muna ng malalim ang lalake bago siya tumugon.

"Ibigay mo sa akin si Lily."

Napangisi naman si Lucia sa lalake.          

"Bakit ikaw ba ang ama niya?"

Terry flinched at Lucia's bluntness.

"You don't deserve to be her mother Lucia."  Paano ba magkakaroon ng karapatan na maging ina kung ang mundong ginagalawan ni Lucia ay puno ng kasamaan?

 "And you deserve to be her foster father?Morgan, nakakalimot ka na ni isang patak ng dugo mo ay hindi dumadaloy sa anak ko. I never even let you touch me. Remember?"

 

 

"No. I never touched you like how your husband does because I respect you. I loved you. I loved you Lucia. Yet you let your husband defile you."

"Like you said he is my husband. He owns me. He owns my body."

"Sinamba kita. I adored you Lucia in the purest ways possible."

"Pure?  How can it be pure if you were fantasizing to be with a married woman?"

 

"Akin na si Lily." Pamimilit ni Terry. Unti- unti siyang lumapit ngunit patuloy naman ang paglayo ni Lucia.

"I will never let you touch my child again."  Napatigil lamang si Lucia nang nakasandal na siya sa  kuna ni Lily.

"I took care of her!" 

 

"I don't give a damn Morgan!"

"I took care of you...Lucia."

 

"You took care of a fantasy Morgan. You created your own world. Remember? I was never yours. I will always love my husband. You were just a lonely teenager then."

"Lucia...please...let me have Lily. I need her."

"For what? For you to continue on pretending you have a perfect family? Gagawin mong asawa yung babae na kasama mo dito sa bahay? Magkukunwari kayong anak ninyo si Lily? Are you that insane?"

"To pretend that you really did love me Lucia. I want to have Lily as a keepsake of our love."

"It was never love! And how can she be a keepsake when she's the fruit of my love to my husband? She is Galvez's daughter. Have you forgotten that?"
