Marinette's PoV
We walked into the meeting room faced with my parents as well as Lila and her mother on the other side of the room. I made my way over to my parents. "Mari, oh thank god you are alright sweetheart." My mother said and hugged me. "Mum I'm fine, I'm just really sorry that I've got us into this situation, you could lose the bakery." I said and put my head down. My dad placed his hand on my shoulder "don't be silly Marinette none of this is your fault." He said. "But.." my mother cut me off, "mr Agrest phoned us and told us everything sweetheart." She told me while Adrien gave a knowing look.
The mayor took his seat and began the meeting, "right so Miss Rossi what exactly are you accusing Miss Dupain-Cheng of?" He asked but before she answered Adrien whispered in my ear "soon to be Mrs Agrest" and gave me a wink, even now he was a flirt. "She's bulling and abusing me just because I speak to Adrien cause she's scared I'm gonna replace her, I just wanted to be her friend." Lila cried. "I want them out of Paris, my daughter dose not deserve to be treated like this" her mother demanded. "I have the bruises to prove it." Lila continued.
Adrien's PoV
"And what is your take on the situation Miss Dupain-Cheng?" The mayor asked Mari. "Deep breath, just be honest I'm right here with you." I whispered to her and she took a deep breath. "Lila first beat me while we were at school, then tried to continue it while we were on the class trip, because she wants to be with Adrien, I wasn't going to tell anyone but I failed to hide all of the marks from my friends." She said. "Miss Rossi, do you have any proof of theses assaults towards you?" The mayor asked Lila. "Yes sir I do." She took out her phone and showed everyone a picture of her stomach covered in bruises. "Okay thank you Miss Rossi, Miss Dupain-Cheng?" Chloe and I showed everyone in the room all of the evidence except what was inside the folder my father gave me. "Thank you, I think it is very clear to see your lies here Miss Rossi, care to explain?" The mayor asked.
"There setting me up it's all edited." Lila cried. That's when me and Chloe smiled and I spoke up. "Mr mayor there is something else." He looked at me and asked me to show him, as I passed him the folder. "So Miss Rossi, this isn't your first time Harassing a model and his girlfriend?" He asked. Lila was in shock at the mention of the Chanel model, her mothers eyes widened. "Dad can I point something out?" Chloe asked. "Go on Chloe" her dad answered. "The pictures of Mari's bruised there's a variation of healed and newer bruises, while Lila's bruises all look new as if they were done a few minutes before the photo." Chloe stated "and Lila, since when are bruises sparkly?" She continued. I laughed as Mari looked at me confused, I made her look at the picture again and her eyes widened.
"Miss Rossi, you have wasted my time and have demanded that the Dupain-Cheng's leave Paris for no real reason other than your own benefit." The mayor stated. "And I have been made aware that if that is to happen then once of Paris' most influential families will be lost as well." Lila looked at him confused, her mother asked "what do you mean?" The mayor continued "Mr Agrest has made this a personal issue and as the mayor of Paris his backing is most important if I want to be able to continue to improve Paris." Mari looked at me for an answer. "Told you I'd be with you princess, once he found out, dad was ready to move the whole business to wherever you and your family wanted to go, even buy a new bakery." I told her. Her eyes widened "Adrien.." she was cute off by Lila.
