As Zero was being lead to his dorm the headmaster was talking to him.
"In this academy we all sorts of students with many talents such as yourself. Also the way classes work is that it is like a regular school seven periods a day, but some days you have different classes. For example you could have a history class twice a week or everyday, depending on the class and the teachers. It is complicated and first but I'm sure you will get the hang of it."
Zero only nodded, he didn't know how everything was going to work out if his classes were going to be like this. He was usually used to having to memorized the routes to his classes and even a friend will help him get there if he had trouble. 'Hopefully he would make friends that have the same classes as him.' he thought.
"Well here it is." said the headmaster. As they entered the room Zero started feeling around and was getting used to his surroundings. There was a bed in the left corner and a window with a closet in the right corner. He felt a dresser on the right side of the wall with a mirror hanging above it. The glass felt cold when he touched it.
"We can get that removed if you like."
"No. It's fine. Thank you."
" Alright. In about twenty minutes I will send someone to show you around campus and to you different classrooms. While you are waiting you could start getting unpacked and getting ready for the opening ceremony in two days. She will talk to you more about it around your tour."
"Thank you headmaster."
"You're welcome. And welcome to our school. I hope you will have and excellent time here, and if you have any questions or concerns please come to my office."
"Thank you."
When the headmaster left Zero alone in his room he started to put his clothes away in the closet. there was so much on his mind, his classes, finding his way around and the students. What would they think of him? Would they be kind and help him when he needs it or are they going to be like the other children in his past schools? Before he knew it Zero heard a light knock on his door. 'It's probably the girl who will show him around. When he opened the door he heard a sweet voice.
"Hello! You must Zero. It's nice to meet you. My name is Yuki Kuran and I will be helping you today to get to know the academy."
Right off the bat Zero knew that Yuki was going to be annoying but nice. She hasn't said a word about his cane or how his eyes were looking down.
'So this is the boy that the headmaster has been taking about. He really is blind, but it's rude to ask.' Yuki thought. 'He must been through a lot. I will make sure that he has a good experience here.' Yuki was the type of girl who would defend what she thought was right. She is the adopted daughter of the headmaster, but she decided to keep her parents name like her older brother.
"Hello. It's nice to meet you too."
"Are you ready to get started?"
"As ready as I will ever be."
"Lets head off then."
