"Everyone always says we've got the wrong guy," The man said, a smirk drawing on his lips.
"Right, I'm sure that's true when you hook people up next to a table that looks like it's straight out of a true crime Netflix adaptation at like two in the morning after kidnapping them. But really- have you guys even done your research?" Jisung asks, feeling himself growing more irritated by the moment. He might not be afraid to die, but that didn't mean he wanted to die for something he'd never done.
"I mean, have I wanted to fuck some people up for what they've done to me? Aaaaabsolutely." He continued, since his new favorite bunny-lookalike was staying quiet, observing him carefully. "Have I? Definitely not. I'm the typed to get kicked, not do the kicking. I'm funny as hell, but I'm a coward when it comes to hurting others." Jisung said, raising an eyebrow as if that should have been obvious.
He was astonished that this man believed he could hurt anyone. If he were going to kill anyone, it would be his lacking excuse for a parental figure, not random innocent people.
"I don't know or care if you are a coward-" The man finally responded with, his eyes still narrowed as he seemed to take everything in.
"So you admit I'm funny as hell? Perfect. My praise kink needed that, thank you." It was Jisung's turn to smirk as he chuckled slightly. The slightly older male in front of him closed his eyes and inhaled deeply before dragging the blade somewhat harshly against Jisung's raised bicep.
The younger boy hardly flinched, let alone cried or screamed as blood started immediately sliding down his skin. Like he said- he'd been through worse.
The male holding the knife said, "Oh Jun-Hae."
"Who the fuck-?" Before Jisung could continue, another cut slowly slashed through his shirt and across the upper right part of his chest. Again, he barely winced, and let out no sound. He had learned much too long ago that showing he was in pain only made it worse.
"Kim Hui-Na," the bunny man continued, his eyes holding contact with the areas of skin he sliced into.
"Are we playing a name game? Shit. Uh- Han Jisung." He tried to ignore the stinging feeling of the blade lifting out of his flesh. The silence between their 'conversation' filled with the drip-drip-drip of blood falling to plastic.
The older sighed in annoyance and cut a mark into the other side of the younger's chest. "Su Ha-Oui."
"Shit." Jisung said again, looking up as if thinking to himself. He was careful not to let the curse sound like a reaction to the pain.
"I don't really have friends, so I feel like you have an unfair advantage, here. Um. Oh." He clicked his tongue, nodding his head. "Han Ineul, my stepdad. Boom."
The knife's point came up to Jisung's chin as the other man stared him in the eyes. "You say you didn't hurt those people, but you make jokes when I bring up their names. You don't take this seriously at all. You don't understand the danger you're in. You don't care at all."
Jisung's eyebrows furrowed again. "In all seriousness... I don't know why the fuck you think it's me, but I know that nothing I'm going to say will change your mind. I'm not gonna scream. I'm not gonna pretend I'm the one you're looking for. The worst I've done is steal a charger or some food I couldn't afford. You have a fairly innocent guy down here, while your supposed murderer is probably still roaming around free up there. The one thing you've got going for you right now is that no one cares enough about me to be looking for me."
The man tilted his head slightly, eyebrows also slanted inwards. Jisung could see the wheels turning in mind. He stayed silent as he simply stared. Some of the blood running down his restrained arms was beginning to cling to his skin and dry, and Jisung could only sigh. He didn't know why he was the one down here in the first place- it didn't make any sense.
