TW: GRAPHIC violence. Dark. This is dark. Seriously, if you can't handle violence and blood and shit, don't read after the double arrow. If you leave a comment asking what happened, I'll respond.
A/N: Also there is an A/N at the end of the chapter. You obviously don't have to read it, but I do suggest it for some sort of explanation.

"So what happened to not falling in love with Minho?" Seungmin asked with an eyebrow raised, tapping his pen against his chin.
"Hey. We just started... going on dates or whatever. We haven't even put a label on this. I wouldn't bring out the l-word yet." Jisung said, immediately trying to think of anything to keep his mind occupied so his face didn't flush red.
Dead horses.
Corpses.
Piles of dead rats in a sewer.
The fuck? Why am I only thinking of dead things?
He shook off the images, as Seungmin just watched, amused.
"It's fine. I mean... you know more than other people have. I know who you are, now. I... trust you." He said, hesitantly, shaking his head rapidly and cringing.
"Minho told me about Jia. I'm not her, Minnie. I promise there's literally nothing anyone here is capable of doing to scare me off. I love you all way too much. Several months ago, I never thought that this kind of feeling for people would be possible for me, but now it's like... I'm addicted to the comfortability we all have."
Seungmin's face dropped at the mention of the female, too distracted to realize that Jisung had dropped Minho's nickname, and ignoring everything else beyond the first sentence. "He... told you about her?"
Jisung nodded with a sad smile. "And the guy who cheated- but he wouldn't tell me his fucking name. Probably because he knows I'd use his kinky death chamber to take out my anger and he's all particular about that shit."
Seungmin let out an awkward laugh. "Hah... yeah. Just, um... please avoid bringing her up in front of the others. Her... departure... was hard enough to handle. But when she died, it nearly broke Felix."
Jisung turned from his chair, previously facing the computer screen on the side of Seungmin's desk. He felt his stomach drop as an uncomfortable feeling sank in and caught hold of his throat.
"She died?"
Seungmin's eyes widened. "If boss didn't tell you that, I didn't tell you that. I'm serious. If you say anything-" The panic was more than evident in both his voice and his facial expressions. He looked... scared.
Jisung simply nodded and turned back to the computer, not wanting to press any further. "No worries. Consider it never-mentioned. Let's keep running through these data sheets."
Seungmin inhaled deeply, as if still trying to calm himself, before turning back to his own screen, as well. The pair had been continuously looking through the data cells of back-entry logs from Hae-Ra's local post office, trying to back-trace where the letter had come from, or how it had gotten to her.

Three days after they had started, and there was still no new information. They were both getting frustrated enough to rip their hair out... or each other's.
"Did you check the 0325 file, or did you just skip that one?" Seungmin asked with obvious annoyance lacing his tone.
"Of course I fucking checked the 0325 file. That's like asking if you went through the #143 video folder." Jisung said, rolling his eyes as he double clicked to open a new folder of sheets to review.
