Jisung and Minho both woke up in their respective beds, sweating. The only difference in how they were awoken was that one had nightmares, and the other had a door being banged on way too loudly for it only being nine in the morning.
"JISUNGGGGGGGGG" He heard a blaring, noisy whine coming from the other side of his door. "I'm hungryyyy."
The boy sat up to rub his tired eyes, sliding his silken sheets to the side. He kept his eyes closed for a few moments before the banging continued.
"Please, I don't want Felix to make egg-toast again. I didn't know eggs could taste like tires. PLEASE." He heard Hyunjin dramatically yelling, and what sounded like the older male sliding down the door.
Jisung whipped his legs over the bed and stomped to the door, swinging it open to see Hyunjin on his knees, looking up as if begging for mercy.
"You've been watching too many dramas." He responded. "I'm saying this for your mental health, my sanity, and your ability to keep living. I need you to not ever wake me up like this again, or I will chop up an actual tire and shove it, piece by rubbery piece, down your loud-ass esophagus. When they have to surgically remove it all, you will have lost so much of your fucking body mass that people will have a better reason to call you Ferret. Clear?"
Hyunjin sucked in his bottom lip and bit it harshly as his eyes widened and he stood up, nodding. Jisung rarely ever got angry, much less about someone asking him to cook. The younger was typically happy to make food for everyone else, and would normally laugh at the older's theatric antics.
Hyunjin didn't take it personally, at all. He never did.
"Sorry, baby squirrel. I was trying to be funny, I'll be more respectful in the future." He smiled and stood there, as he didn't want to walk away and have the younger think that he was angry or upset.
Jisung still hung his head, sighing, and running his hand through his hair. "No, that was a bit overboard." Just because Hyunjin stood there and took it doesn't mean Jisung should have lashed out. He should have known better. "I'm sorry. I still don't want to be woken up like that, but I shouldn't have reacted that harshly. Are you okay? Are we okay?" He asked, looking back up at the male hovering above him.
Hyunjin responded by wrapping his arms around the boy and squeezing before ruffling his hair. "Of course we're okay. But for real, can you please make food? Because Felix was headed for the kitchen and I literally can't."
Jisung chuckled, giving in to the other's request. "Fine. What are you feeling for food?"
Hyunjin's eyes sparkled as he leaned back, slightly, with his arms still linked behind Jisung's small waistline. "Can you do those stuffed pancakes you made like two weeks ago? I'm genuinely dying for that shit."
At that moment, Felix bounded upstairs with Chan following him, both of them passing a tired Minho still waking up from the screaming.
"HEY!" Felix yelled out, waving a silicon spatula he had brought from the kitchen, even though he hadn't even begun to cook. "Get your hands off my man."
Chan pursed his lips and looked up at the ceiling, as if trying to control himself, while his toes dug into the carpeted rug beneath his feet.
Minho's eyes widened, slightly, as he saw Hyunjin and Jisung with their arms around each others' waists, looking up at each other and then to Felix.
"Babe, you can take turns. There's enough Jiji to go around, I promise. I can take it. Or give it, if that's what you're into. I'm versatile." Jisung said, laughing.
Hyunjin's nose wrinkled with his eyebrows pulling down in disgust as he let go of the younger. "Ew. Never say Jiji again."
Jisung pointed a finger at him, pushing his lips forward as his eyes narrowed. "But nothing negative to say about my idea. Noted."
