Anisha's POV:

When I woke up in the morning and remembered the previous night's incident I felt very bad. As good as the had day went by, the night's events had been very pathetic. I was a little hurt when Kunal had decided to disappear for the day but I had enjoyed my day out until I reached the house to see the crowd and arguments happening. The way Kunal behaved yesterday was so harsh not just with my friends but with his own bestfriend too. It was apparent how hurt Lakshit was because of him. And the real big deal was, that my lies were out and now Rosie knew the reality of my marriage. This is not something I would ever wish for her to know, infact anyone close to me shouldn't be hurt because of me or feel sad for me.

I went downstairs to see Kunal who wasn't yet out of his room. I returned to my room and let out my frustration through the morning workout . I was feeling immense urge to shout at him and let my anger out on Kunal for doing this to me but I knew better than anyone that it's not going to get any better by that so I thought of dealing it with silence until he himself brings up the topic.

I quickly got ready and left the house without making or eating the breakfast. I became less restless, more comfortable enough to forget everything as the day passed productively with loads of work. I even had my supper at the hospital canteen itself before returning back to the house.

When I reached the maindoor to enter the passcode, but it opened from inside. I was startled by this for a second, I recovered and entered inside. Usually whenever Kunal is earlier than me to house he settles inside his room and never bothered to open the door as I already knew the code to enter myself. This was something new today.

His voice stopped me from walking further,

"Anisha, Are you doing well!?"

I turned around to look at him, the concern in his eyes made me melt, but I just nodded. He was confused by this and still had many questions but I walked away before he could dodge any of them at me. A small sigh left out of me as I reached my room, I changed into the nightwear and sat on the bed. I tried to finish the hospital paperwork but couldn't concentrate, I felt like I'm being childish for being silent and not directly communicating the issue with Kunal. I realized that the silence can only increase the misunderstanding and problems rather than solving it. But I also knew that my temper in the morning was too bad for any sort of ideal conversation. Now as the situation had calmed down, I was in a better state to think and speak rationally.

The whole day I had managed to ignore Kunal's and Rosie's text messages. I just can't run away forever, and have to confront both. With another deep sigh I came downstairs to see Kunal still watching the TV. I walked towards him and stood in front.

He didn't seem to understand but after a moment he turned off the TV and spoke himself,

"I'm sorry for what happened last night"

"What are you sorry for?" I asked

"I know we both had agreed to not to let the secret of our marriage out in front of our family and friends but I broke the promise, and this surely has hurt you."

I just looked at him with folded hand,  he paused for a moment and continued,

"It was a very tough day for me and here, all of the drama only increased my intolerance."
