Anisha's POV:
It was 8:30 when I reached back and wasn't surprised to see Kunal entering the home just then.
"You're late today" He said as he closed the door behind me.
"Yeah, I was busy listening to your fangirls fawning about you"
"Ohh please" he laughs just because one girl said something you can't make such assumptions.
"Oh yeah. You're being modest now?"
"I can see you totally enjoying it. And no this isn't my assumption. You totally are the main ingredient of their tea"
Kunal shakes his head. "I'm ordering some Chinese food? What do you want?"
"Chow mein" I answered immediately, I'm so hungry.
We ate silently and went to our respective rooms to sleep.

It was almost 12:30 pm when I finished my morning clinic duty and walked out of the check up room to find Kunal and Dr Siddharth walking towards Dr Jones' cabin. I stopped them in between and asked, "looking for Dr Jones? "
"Yeah" Dr Siddharth said,
"She's not here and might come by 1 pm."
"Ohh, we were here to discuss Mrs Smith's case. We are assigned this case as a top priority. So you'll be seeing us more often" He said smiling.
Kunal just stood there lost in his cellphone. I remembered how I had been disrespectful to Dr Siddharth yesterday so I thought of making it up,
" How bout some coffee until you wait for her?" I asked
He seemed happy at that, and was about to say something when Kunal interrupted him saying,
"Who drinks coffee at this hour? Don't you guys have lunch hour?"
Is he trying to humiliate me? I'm not giving up.
"Of course we have Dr Ruse. But some people often skip lunch and don't bother eating at all" I gave him a weird smile, totally poking at his habit.
"Hahaha, he's absolutely one among them. I've hardly ever seen him eat" Siddharth said laughing.
Our canteen has best burritos, want to try those Dr Siddharth? " I ask politely
"Please call me Sid. And yeah after you" he motions, "Join us bruh" calls out to Kunal who follows.
All three of us buy burritos and settle in a table when Elena pops out of nowhere.
"I didn't know you guys would be here today itself "she says looking at the two men in front of me and sat next to me.
"Wanna have some? " Sid asks mouthful?
"No, I just finished my lunch" Elena replies.
"Jones asked four of us to come up with the possible treatment, by doing some research, that can be done with the available resources in the hospital, which treats Mrs Smith's tumor and also not harmful for her pregnancy. "
"Why four of us? Just two can do a handful of jobs."
"Yeah. But Jones want this work to be perfectly done. This is our first such case in this hospital and also a high profile one. So any mistakes have too much at stake for everyone." Elina explained, "And we can divide the work as 2 pairs" she added, eyeing Kunal.
"Me and Sid can make a team" Kunal says immediately. And as soon as he finishes he makes a face as though he realized he said wrong.
"No bruh" Sid intervenes "One gyne and one neuro makes a better pair"
