Anisha's POV:
It has been a really bad weather past two days also the perfect time for me as a doctor to be at a medical camp in this hilly area. And probably my last camp from my current hospital.
Past two days kept me fully busy with all the female residents of this area. Thier health and personal hygiene was
our primary concern.
Today was the last day and I was having this very bad feeling that something wasn't right, I was scared.
I picked my cellphone to call my dad, but couldn't connect. It's pretty common here to have low network but today weather was worse than normal.
I came outside in search of network near the hills, still unable to connect.
I immediately opened the messages from my dad, it was all in form of voice record. None of them were loaded. I tried to download all of them, and kept refreshing hoping it loads soon.
With each passing second my heart started beating fast. I shouldn't have ignored these before, why am I feeling so anxious?
And finally one of it loaded, I hurriedly played it.
"I'm really proud of your choice Ani! This is the happiest moment in my life. I knew this day would come but never expected it this soon, can't wait to meet you"
This was sent yesterday.
"What does he mean by my choice? What is he happy for? What does this mean!?" I frustratingly spoke loud.
"I know what it means"
I heard someone speak from behind.
I was startled by this sudden sound and was about to fall when the person held my hand. I turned around to see Dr Kunal standing behind me. Huh! I pulled myself up and stood straight, then shouted at him.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?"
"I came here to meet you." He said calmly.
Before I could ask anything else, One of my colleagues walked towards us,
"Dr Anisha it's going to rain soon, its better if you get inside the tent. Ohh you have a guest here! who's this?" she spoke looking at Kunal.
He answered for me
"I'm her fiancé"
And walked away, I lead him there not wanting to create drama outside. Once we both were alone inside my tent I spoke,
"Would you mind to explain what you just said?" Trying my best to calm down.
And he told me everything. About how my parents and his parents knew each other many years ago, how my lie -
'I really liked him, he rejected me'
had caused problem because apparently he also had said the same thing. His mom had clarified all the misunderstanding and had set the dates for our marriage just after my exams. And even it's preparations had begun.
"WHAT!! How could all this happen and I don't know anything?" I asked fuming.
"Exactly. Why did you block my number, you haven't even answered your parents text And you've come here into this not reachable area" He continued,
"Your mom, your dad even your younger sister interviewed me yesterday And you have no idea how big of an hassle it was to reach to you here"
"Urghhhhh!!!! What are we gonna do now?"
"Actually I came here with an idea" he said hesitantly.
I stared at him curious, he spoke again.
"Do you have anyone you are interested to get married to?"
