You woke up to your phone buzzing. It was your group chat. Diego and Kevin had been texting for a while now. You realized it was 11am. You never slept in this late. You click on the messages.

-it's going great so far. I'll talk to you guys later.- Kevin

-no one asked.- Diego

You sent a heart to Kevin's message. You swipe out of the group chat to look at the other messages.

Jorge

You quickly click on Diego's message. You saw he had sent it last night. -let's go out tomorrow.- Diego

You would never admit it to him but seeing his message made your heart flutter. Was it to late to respond??

-what do you have in mind?- Y/N. You finally send your message, not sure if he will respond soon or at all.
Little did you know Diego was the one freaking out over the fact that you hadn't responded.

You click on Alexis's message.

-What are you doing tomorrow??- Alexis

-looks like I'm free, what's up??- Y/N

You leave your phone on the bed while you go use the bathroom. Since it's just you, you leave your bathroom door open.

*ding* your phone buzzed. You quickly clean yourself up and wash your hands. You run, jumping onto your bed. You excitedly look at your phone. It was Alexis.

You sigh.

-you wanna go to the mall? I have to buy Jorge's gift.- Alexis

-let's do it. What time??-Y/N

You wait for Alexis to finish typing. A new message popped up on your screen. It was Diego. You quickly click on.

-you'll see. We'll leave at 6.- Diego

-wait, what should I wear??-Y/N

-whatever you want, something causal just make sure you bring a sweater. It'll get chilly.- Diego

You weren't sure what Diego had planned. Chilly? Here?

-10am. I'll pick you up.- Alexis
You send Alexis a quick like.

You finally get up out of bed, you prepare yourself breakfast. You made some huevos con chorizo, with frijoles. You walk over to your small dinning table. You open up your living room curtains, bringing in some natural lighting into your living room.

Once you finished your breakfast, you headed back into the kitchen. You turned your music on. El chico del apartamento 512 immediately started playing. You begin singing to the song. You found yourself smiling. You were thinking of him.

It was around 1pm when you finished cleaning your house. Even though your house was always clean, it was therapeutic to clean again. You sat down in your living room to finish some paperwork you had, that took up the rest of your time. It was 4:30 when you finally started getting ready.

You decided to do beach waves for your hair. It was what took the longest. You went very simple with your makeup today. You did a "no makeup" makeup look. For your clothing you decided to wear a light F/C sundress. It was flowy, yet it hugged your curves perfectly. With your remaining time, you text your dad.

-hola papi!! How are you?- Y/N

-hi mija, bien y tú? Did you eat already??- Papá

-si! I had huevitos. Did you eat??- Y/N

-si mija, ya comí. Te quiero mucho mi niña.- Papá

There was a knock on the door.

-yo también papi. I'll talk to you later.-Y/N

You quickly head over to your door. You open it.

"Let me get my shoes real quick." You say walking away quickly. You hadn't bothered to look at Diego. You quickly walk into your closet. You look for your sandals. Once you put them on. You walk back to the living room. You finally look to Diego. He was waiting by the door. He was wearing a white shirt with dark blue jeans. You smile.

"These are for you." Diego says handing you a ramo of pink roses.

"Thank you." You say, placing a quick kiss on his cheek. You grab the flowers and grab an extra vase from under the sink. You place the flowers inside.

"You ready?" Diego asks.

"Yup." He opens the front door for you.

"You look really pretty." Diego says as you locking up your apartment.

"Thank you." You say smiling, giving him a little twirl in your dress.

"You look good as well." You say, eyeing Diego.

Diego and you walk into the parking garage. He walks over to the passenger side, opening up the door for you. Once your both settled in his car, you try asking Diego where you are going. He doesn't tell you. You finally leave the apartment complex. Diego drove for a bit. 20 minutes later.. you arrived.

You were at a beautiful park. "I thought we could have a little picnic." He says smiling.
