Back At Wool's

The summer break came far too quickly for the Slytherin heir's liking.

Slytherin House had won the house cup and now Abraxas and Tom, were standing in front of the small building, Tom tense.

Enceladus and Albus Dumbledore accompanied them, the animosity high in the air.

"I really don't see why it's such a big deal for you Lord Malfoy. Tom-"

"That is Lord Gaunt to you." interrupted the Malfoy patriarch, his words sharp and Albus cleared his throat. "Heir Slytherin should be with those he's known for most his life."

"It sounds to me as if you want him submissive Dumbledore. But you cannot fool me." said Enceladus and Tom was impressed by the sheer amount of dark magic coming from the man.

"I only want the best for Heir Slytherin." responded Dumbledore and Tom noticed that he never referred to Tom as Lord Gaunt most likely because he did not see Tom as anything but a child.

"Tom? Dumbledore?" remarked Sister Rose, opening the door, her expression confused and surprised. "I am sorry Ms. Rose but Tom will be coming back-"

"For this summer only. He will be in my care soon enough. I must take care of some paperwork." said Enceladus his voice harsh and Dumbledore cleared his throat, giving a tight smile.

"Yes, Tom will be here for the summer." he said and Rose seemed perplexed but nodded, letting the men and two young wizards in.

Tom tried his best not to curl in on himself at the sight of Abraxas' sneer but he could feel that the boy was not disgusted with Tom himself, just the fact that he had to live like this most of his life.

Enceladus himself was frowning deeply even as they were led to Tom's old room.

To Tom's surprise, Rose had not touched any of his belongings. Everything looking the same as it did when he left. She had even cleaned the room from the smell of fresh pine.

"Everything should be in its place." she smiled and Tom was silent. "We have some things to give Tom. Would you mind stepping out for a moment?" questioned Enceladus, his tone polite and the woman seemed to blush as she nodded quickly.

"Of course. Excuse me."

Sister Rose left the room and Abraxas shut the door while his father waved a hand, the room's walls darkening in color. Black curtains blocked any muggle from seeing into Tom's window and his lone bed became the size of the one he had at home.

His real home.

The sheets were silver and green and Enceladus even added a few extra pieces of furniture such as end tables and a nicer desk. He now had a wardrobe and inside were a few of the robes he had made.

"I won't bring all of your things here, but your homework and things are all here. If you would like anything, you may call Dobby and he will respond. You can visit, however because of this fool, you cannot stay longer than a few days." Enceladus paused and Tom stiffened when he felt a familiar presence in his mind.

I have warded the room so you can use magic here but nowhere else in the building.

Tom heard Enceladus' words in his head but he did not react.
