Alternative Meeting (Mattholomule x Gus)

I wish you were here.. (Chapter 1)

Hello!! This is the first chapter, I hope you enjoy. Also, this chapter is only going to be in Matt's POV. the next few chapters are going to be the hexside squads.

Matt's POV:

I was sitting down on a bench inside New Hexside, looking around finding people sleeping on the ground and other witches getting hunted down by the kindergarteners. "I could do a better job than Boscha as a leader. I wouldn't make everyone live in misery" I thought to myself.

I cross my legs and lean back, I can't believe it's been months and still no sign of Gus. "Maybe he's been turned into a puppet", I shiver at that thought.

"Capitan Tholomule, please report to the gym." the speakers yell, It's Boscha.. I wonder why she wants me? I uncross my legs and get up, I start walking to the gym with witches progressively getting louder saying "Ooooo!" what a bunch of children.

I reach the Gym and enter. Skara and Barkus were there too. I look at Boscha with Mickey and Roka by her throne, as always. I glance at Roka, she's looking down acting all emo, I wonder what she looks like under her cape. Also, I wonder if she's ok. I glance back at Boscha wanting to know what she called us for. Mickey clears her throat as Boscha is filing her nails. "You called me?" trying to act sweet but deep inside I just want to yell at her.

"Oh! I didn't even realize you were here, you're so tiny." Boscha made fun of my height in a friendly kind of way. Maybe I was a little small for my age, but no need to make fun of me for it. Even as a joke. "Anyway, I want you three to go out and look for anymore demons or witches." She told all three of us. I don't know them that well, but they do look pretty cool. I turn around and flip my hair while glitter falls out of it.

All three of us start walking out trying to hide from all the spies. We started walking until we heard something in the bushes, my eyes widened and I twirled my finger in a circular motion leaving a yellow ring of light around my finger. Skara gets out her staff and Barkus gets out an exploding potion, in suspense we watch the bush and it turns out to just be a bird. (the bird in the new episode that Hunter thought looked like Flapjack.) I sighed in relief and the others just started walking without me "WAIT FOR ME!" I whisper yelled. They stopped for a moment to let me catch up. When I did we started walking again, after a few minutes we saw a spy. We crouched down and went against the trees, why did Boscha make us do this again..? Don't we already have enough people.

Still crouching down we started walking trying to get past the spy, I looked down on the ground trying to avoid stepping on anything that was in the way. I noticed that Skara was still looking at the spy and saw that a crunchy leaf was in her walking path. Right before she could step on it I quickly reacted by grabbing her shoulder and pulling her back. I look into her eyes and she had fear in them (NOT IN A ROMANTIC WAY JUST FRIENDLY.) "sorry." I whispered to her.

"Don't say sorry, you just saved me" she responded still whispering. I moved the leaf out of the way with magic and we started walking again. After we got past the spy we reached the market area, I realized that there was a chance that more food was in there. I told the others quickly running into one of the market places, we all separated into different markets. After finding no food in sight I leaned against a wall and started sliding down, I got hopeful that one of the others found food so I got back up on my feet and walked over to Barkus first. "Found any food?" I asked.

He barked at me translating to "Sadly, no." "How about you?? Any food?". "No luck." I replied "Maybe Skara found some." we both ran to her after I said that. I asked her the same question and she had the same exact answer as Barkus. "That was all of the food market places.." "Maybe if we-" I got cut off by some talking in the background. We all looked shocked, I peeked out and saw.. "AUGUSTUS??" I yelled and had the biggest smile on my face.
