Alternative Meeting (Mattholomule x Gus)

Where is everyone..? (Chapter 3)

This chapter will mainly be in Gus's pov and it's kinda recreating the new episode but not entirely accurate. Also with me having to write on my phone instead of my laptop this chapter isn't going to be the best but please try to enjoy!

Gus's POV:
Willow stopped for a moment and goes up to the red grass "Oh red grass, how I've missed you" she'd giggle with her hand over her mouth. I decided to play along because I love seeing her happy, she's like a sister to me! I'd twirl my hand in a circular motion leaving a light blue ring around my finger.

I'd make an illusion of the red grass being alive "Willow!" I made it say while they're hugging her. She'd smile really big revealing all her teeth, I smiled too. At least someone found something they're missing dearly, my mind immediately starting going towards Mattholomule. I miss him so much, he was amazing and such a good friend. He was so cool, awesome, and handsome.. I MEAN, UH!

I tried to go back to Willow but that got interrupted by Hunter saying "well, we don't have time for red grass or-" his voice started going quiet, for me at least. I know why he's frustrated, his best friend just died. I spotted the red bird that kind of looked like flapjack. it was flying away from the tree. No one why he has a sudden outburst. I noticed Willow with a gloomy expression on her face. I got rid of the illusion seeing that isn't making her feel happy anymore, we all started walking again.

Luz wanted to go to the owl house, probably because she misses Eda and King. I mean I don't blame her, I miss my dad and Matty. They both meant so much to me, I start to tear up but I wipe them away. As we slowly started reaching the owl house, Luz looked more sad. Poor Willow and Luz. I hope when we defeat Belos and when everything goes back to normal, maybe everyone won't be as sad anymore.

We finally reached our destination, "Welcome to..." Luz paused for a moment as she opened the door, Hooty wasn't there at the door. As Luz finally opened the door she said "The owl house." every light was off, all the furniture was gone, and no one was there. Where is everything? And where is lil buff dude? (The toy from the episode where they tried to do that witches possession or smth)

I looked around the place and noticed how much it has changed, with out Hooty, Eda, King, and Owlbert this place isn't as much fun as it used to be anymore. I can't imagine how Luz feels right now, I started thinking about Matty again and how much I've changed, I miss him so much. She must be feeling 10x more worse than me.

Luz walked down the hallway, Amity and Willow were sitting at the window sill. Camila was looking around in the fridge, I decided to go after Luz as I needed to make sure she's ok. As I was walking to Luz, I noticed a picture on the ground. It was Eda, Luz, King, and Hooty. I felt really bad so I picked the picture up and went into Eda's room.

As I walked into Eda's room, I saw Luz lying down in her nest. "You're missing them, huh..?", Luz looked up at me and slowly nodded. I tried to put on a fake smile but it slowly fell apart. Luz was looking at her egg, suddenly she asked "How did you know your deepest wish..?". I didn't know how to answer that, I just knew. "I don't know, I just found out what I wanted to be earlier in life."... maybe I should add on. "But you just really have to dig deep down and find out what you want to spend the rest of your life moving towards." 

I leaned on the nest looking out the window, then again thinking of Matt. I need to stop thinking about him.. especially during these times. "This isn't the only thing you came up here for, huh..?" I said trying to get my mind off of Matt, though for some reason I don't want to stop thinking about him. I handed Luz the picture I found on the floor. "No matter how long it takes, I'm going to find Eda and King." I looked at her smiling a bit, that gave me a bit of hope for finding Matty. WAIT NO I NEED TO STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM.

My thoughts suddenly got cut off by hunter yelling "WE NEED TO GO OUT AND ACTUALLY TRY FINDING PEOPLE.. WE'RE DOING NOTHING!" I looked out the window and it looked like he was having a panic attack. I glanced at Luz giving her the look of we need to go. She understood, we both stood up and started walking out the door into the living room. Once again leaving that room to the outside. Willow and Amity were already there, "Where are we heading?" I asked with Luz behind me stuffing the photo I gave her earlier into her pocket. "To the Markets" Hunter responded.

thank you so much for reading this story, sadly I got writers block and couldn't find the motivation to continue the story. I decided to get it over with so I can actually post this chapter!!
