Several weeks passes since our fight and we've barely spoken since. Michael told Uriël to train me. Apparently he has no time to teach someone who doesn't want to learn, who continues to defy him. Whatever, I will do whatever the fuck I want. I don't care if he likes it or not. Uriel showed me a few new and handy tricks. He teaches me everything he knows. He's training me to be better, and faster. To be honest, I like him. He is not as stiff as Michael is. Uriël knows how to have fun. With him training is much more fun than it is with Michael. Yeah, he is a pain in the ass sometimes but in the end, he's quite alright. I got him to agree to a night of fun. We're at the club and at the moment he's grinding his hips into some girl's ass. Not that she minds, she's all for it. Can't say I don't agree with her. He's a big and handsome guy. He also hasn't had a drop of alcohol but you wouldn't say so if you saw him. I, on the other hand, can't seem to relax. I have the feeling something is going to happen. I'm restless. And I can't seem to stop thinking about Killian. I haven't heard from him since our dreamwalk.

I am ripped from my thoughts, though, when I hear explosions going off. They seem close, too close. I hear and see people starting to scream and panic.

"Maria, help everybody get out." Uriël yells at me. "When they are safe, come help me."

He doesn't wait for an answer. He turns and starts fighting demons, that popped out of nowhere. I didn't sense them before, but I definitely do now. They are everywhere. I see a girl about to be crushed by a piece of ceiling and speed in action. I use my speed and bring her outside the building. Then I go back inside and help the others that still need help. Most are already out but a few remain, so I help them as quickly as I can. After helping everybody, I don't think anybody was seriously harmed. I turn to go back inside and help Uriël but stop dead in my tracks when I see Killian standing in the doorway, leaning against it like nothing is going on.

"I told you I would be coming for you." He says.

"Is that why you're here? Why you almost got these people killed?"

"Not the only reason. You see, there is something I need inside this building. We're to collect it. And to collect you, off course."

I look behind me and see most people are already gone. The explosions haven't stopped, though. "Yeah, I saw a few of your buddies go inside. I didn't take you for a team player, to be honest."

"I'm not. They came to me with an interesting story. Told me I was special. One of a kind." He air quotes the last words. "You know what else they told me? Some of them just got out of Hell and they had a message for me, from my father."

"Your father? You know who he is?"

"I do now. It's Lucifer. And my mother's name is Lillith."

Off course. I get it now, why Uriël and Michael keep referring him as the Devil's child. I just though it was because they knew he was a demon, but it makes perfect sense now.

"I asked them if maybe they knew who your parents were, but they could only tell me that your father is an archangel and that your mother died a long time ago."

My mother is dead?  How? If she was an angel? And why didn't Michael or Uriël tell me? They acted as if she was still alive. They made me believe I would see them both again. But that's a lie. I will never see my mother again. I will never get to know her.

"I'm sorry." Killian says after I haven't responded for awhile. "They didn't tell you, did they?" No, they did not. "They don't care about you, Maria. They only care about themselves."

A demon comes to Killian, whispering in his ear, but I can clearly hear it. "They have it. It's time to go. The angel is a though one." He looks at me before going back inside. Killian comes to me and takes my hands in his, looking me in the eyes.
