Author's POV

....The sound of her soft giggles rang inside his head as he peppered her shoulder with gentle light kisses.

"Taehyung-ah." She whispered his name. Her velvety voice felt like music to his ears. Her petite form was in the strong, masculine arms of his. Closing his eyes he leaned closer and nuzzled his nose with her's. Her doe shaped honey eyes lovingly looked at him.

"It's too late Taehyung-ah." He opened his eyes and confusingly looked at her.

Slowly she faded away and Taehyung was engulfed with darkness. In front of him, he saw the chandelier falling on her. He tried to save her but couldn't.
He couldn't move from his spot. It shattered into million pieces. He felt something wet on his face and he touched his cheeks. His eyes widened in horror seeing the red liquid.

"It's too late." Her voice was again heard.

"You don't love me Taehyung-ah. It's good if I die."

Her bloodied body was lying in front of him, looking at him with sad eyes.

"You don't love me."

Blood trailed down from her eyes to her.......

Taehyung jolted up from his sleep while sweating heavily. He looked around and breathed in relief that it was just a nightmare.

"Tch. Why these things come to my dream?" Rubbing his forehead with his thumb and index finger he muttered in his breath.

He looked beside him and saw Haneul sleeping soundly. His gaze soften a bit.

His one hand made it's way towards her face and lightly caressed her bangs which made her stir in her sleep. Tracing one of her soft cheeks with his long slender fingers he chuckled lightly. He has this impact on her. Suddenly he realized something. What was he doing? Did he just smile for her?

It was past midnight but sleep was far away from Taehyung. The lights of the gaming room were on as he was there, throwing the darts on the board, trying the thoughts to get away from his mind. He opened the cap of the wine bottle and started to drink from it.

Her crying face flashed in his mind and he groaned.

"Get away from my mind."

He harshly threw the bottle on the floor. He was afraid, afraid to let someone enter his life. He was afraid to have affection.

"Is it what you felt when you were in love with that bastard, noona?" He banged his head with the wall.

"But I find it painful. So painful."

What is her fault Taehyung-ah? It was her family who hurt us, not her. Then why are you punishing her? Jin's voice rang inside his head.

Don't you feel anything towards me? Not even a bit? Her voice hit his eardrums.

He clutched his head and sat on the marbled floor, leaning his back against the coach of the gaming room.

"What are you doing to me Jieun?" He whispered.

Kim Taehyung wasn't afraid of anything. But he was afraid to follow his heart.

The next day. At evening.

Haneul's POV

My grip on the arms of the chair tightened hearing Jungkook's words. Lee Junghee was at the party. He was the one who tried to kill the both of us.
