We arrived and everyone looked so excited with there little masquerade masks. Me and Sportacus wore matching masks to match with our outfits. I held on to him as we walked around, greeting everyone. After saying our greetings, we find a table near the back, which would be perfect for later on. We sat and no one bothered us. Sportacus held my hand as we watched everyone dance. I went up a few times to dance with Stephanie, but I quickly came back to accompany Sportacus. I see Stephanie go up to the DJ and she whispered something to him, and coming back she smiled at me, quickly winking and then walking away. The lights dimmed down and the DJ said "This was a special request from someone." He says. I look at Stephanie and tells me to go dance with Sportacus. The DJ then plays a slow dance song. Sportacus looks at me. "Do you want to dance?" He smiles. I nodded my head yes and he gets up, holds my arm and we find our way to the dance floor. I hold on to his shoulders while he holds on to my waist. "You're one of the most beautiful girls I have ever met." He whispers to me. His eyes always softened when he saw me. He always made sure I was happy when we hanged out. He never ever tried once to make me uncomfortable. We dance for a bit until he finally breaks the silence. "y/n." He finally asks. I tried looking into his eyes but he was facing down, staring at the marbled floor. "What's wrong?" I ask him. He doesn't say a word, but instead looks around, as if he is trying to think. We finally make eye contact.

I was so shocked by what he had said.
