Jake had been on a stakeout for the last three days but he was finally coming home.
Amy was so excited.
It was her day off so she was sitting at home reading a book and waiting for her boyfriend to get home.
She heard the door unlock. she quickly set her book down and fixed her ponytail.
Her boyfriend shuffled in, he looked a little rough. he had a small cut above his right eyebrow a bruise on his right arm, and he looked very tired.
"Hey babe" she smiled "hey" he half smiled "what happened?" she asked as he put his stuff away "rough night" he sighed sitting next to her on the couch. "what happened?" she asked again "just a small fight before we arrested our guy," he said as she leaned into him "are you okay?" she asked "yeah, don't worry" he smiled as they sat there snuggled together.
they fell asleep together on the couch, Jake has never been so happy.
